I believe that there should be a Dispute trades button.

 

 

 

It would be a simple link in the OPTIONS section of the runescape client where you can view your last 20 or so trades and who they were with.

 

 

 

Right clicking on the trade would give you a small contex menu.

 

~View Trade

 

~Dispute Trade

 

~Cancel

 

 

 

 

 

~View tarde~

 

Would show you the exact items that went through the tarde system.

 

 

 

~Dispute Trade~

 

After confirmation would send a dispute to jagex either because you were scammed, ripped off, or feel it was a very unfair trade.

 

 

 

Jagex would check into it and possibly take action againts to trader who ripped you off.

 

 

 

~Cancel~

 

Closes the contex menu.

Sometimes durring laggy points in the game you are logged out before you can report a scammer and he logs out without any trace.

 

 

 

It can help you keep track of your merchanting.

 

 

 

It can help to keep track of trustworthy traders if you ever feel like trading to them again.

 

 

 

Keeps track of good suppliers of items.

5? Why don't you just 2x check trade screen to not get scammed? Friends list and forums help keep track of trusted and useful traders. But I guess it'd be good for quick reference in game or in a crowded market.

Just be more careful with trading and you shouldnt have to worry.

If you LOOK at the second trade screen you won't get scammed.

Yes but this is aimed more for merchants and newbs. Since newbs seem to be the leet p2p of tomarrow we need to cater to them somewhat.

 

 

 

Like children, newbs need to be educated amd given a safe enviroment. This can help.

 

 

 

Merchants can use this too. -_~

I dunno about the whole "dispute trade" thing. Just check the 2nd trade window and use the report abuse button if you still fall for it. I could see some use in the merchanting side of it (if only I was any good at it) so I will give you a 5
