I would most likely give myself many tips and hints on how to more easily play the game. My past self would then go about starting Runescape a step ahead of where I actually started therefore altering the path along which I came to be who I was. Therefore making it impossible to have said the exact things I said to my past self. This would cause either a rift in time or a reset to the point just before I talked to my past self.

This one was a new one for me to see. Guy said "Giving away free lobbys" Well who doesnt like free lobbys? So I traded him. He showed me 20 cooked lobbys. He said "show me your inventory and they're yours" So I show him everything I had with me (300k). He says "Nice, they're all yours" and hits accept. Im just about to push it when... WAIT A SECOND! I declined cause I realized I still had all that stuff in the window... watch out for this one.

In my opinion that would be a terrible idea. The amazing thing about Runescape is that you can play it for free. And anybody can access. Making it into a CD format would hurt that. Back on topic: This can only be a good thing for Jagex but I doubt players will notice to much of a difference.

I was just looking at the highscores and realized that exp. max's out a 200,000,000. So I guess a person could only get 4,600,000,000 exp. So I guess I am asking 2 things: 1) Would Runescape be considered beaten by a person if they had done all quests and got 200,000,000 exp. in every category? 2) Do you think it will ever happen? Zezima maybe?

I'm not trying to pick a fight but I can't say that I completely agree with you. First off I agree that price manipulation isn't right in real life. But Runescape is a game. And the point of a game is to have fun and do good in it. I understand that Runescape involves real people but it is still a game. So what R2Pleasent did was in fact in the nature of "playing a game" he got good at it and had fun. Next, life is about choices. If people fall for these manipulations it is there choice. The big point I want to make is: If you have a problem with what R2Pleasent did then you have to have a problem with rares in general. Every person who owns a rare or has owned a rare has taken part in a manipulation. The real worth of an item is the amount of gold you get for it when you high alch it. Rares were introduced for the purpose of fun. And people turned it into something else. So I'm not saying you are wrong but I don't completely agree with you. R2Pleasent was banned so I don't see the point in bashing him further. What's done is done. In the end it's a game. Don't get to caught up in it.

I guess this story counts... A friend of mine who used to play and I decided we want to get to lvl 99 smithing (both of us were under lvl 10) so that we could make rune and get rich. And my friend logged on one day and messaged me that he had figured out how to do it super easy. I asked him how... He said "All we need to do is control all the money in runescape and then people will have to help us get whatever we will need" And at first I was like "OMG WE DID IT!" All we have to do is hold onto the money and never use it. Eventually we would have it all... Soon after the thought crossed my mind... How can people sell things to the general store and always get money... Then I realized... Runescape has an infinite money system... I told my friend... Both of us were disappointed... Neither of us are close to 99 smithing.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree (all absolutes are false). I have never been a sore loser, even in my hormonal teen years. :wink: You seem to be a little sore about Wookiee's statement... :) But back to the main point. I can only suggest that you continue to show respect to everybody. Although you may not get it back you can still feel decent about yourself. And in years to come you might look back at your time playing Runescape and think "Hey, I was a decent person. Even when it wasn't required". Life's not fair and so you must accept that there are people who will do things that you don't like or don't agree with, but you will just have to keep living your life. AfroThunderX

So I am not alone. Whenever I hear Home by Michael Buble I can see myself walking through the wild with only a bronze dagger trying to find free stuff. Especially sapphires.

Well I realized something weird a while back. When I would play Runescape for a long period of time I would listen to a particular song over and over. And months later when I hear that song I can picture what I did in Runescape. For example I listened to System of a Down when I cut, picked, fletched, rune crafted, and high alched 1,000 yew bows. And whenever I hear them I can see my character running across the screen towards the nature rune temple in my head. I was wondering if anybody has this same thing happen or specific examples?
