  1. Well here's what I'm using right now: It works just fine for me, but i want to know what there is that works better. Specifically the boots, prayer book, farseers and msb. I know about ahrims too, just waiting to get it from the chest, or something i can sell in order to buy it. Also if anything else could be improved I would like to know that as well. Thanks. EDIT: forgot to put my stats here. Just follow the link to my hiscores.
  2. If you have the required levels its better to use a slayer staff and cast magic dart. And the only runes you will need are mind and deaths, which you get back from the chest. Meaning: no rune costs \ chaos runes aren't really needed for the same reason as i mentioned above. also, some of the rfd gloves have better stats than gauntlets, so buy them if you can. You won't regret it.
  3. I believe someone said that the burn rate hasn't been lower since rsc, maybe i'm wrong but that's what I was told. is it? because ive done rfd. but anyway, monkfish would be better than lobs for sure i guess. But my minds is still shifted towards sharks... It does. Says so in the knowledge base. Anyway, sharks are fine if you don't have a better way to earn money.
  4. Yeah, that was what i meant. I dont want more than 4 digits either. Just to get it applied to anything that lets you take stuff from your account.
  5. That's just a more strict version of the inventory pin :shame: If a player forgets their pin they need to be able to do something while they wait out the time to get the pin lifted.
  6. It's really more of a tingling sensation. You hate this emoticon: :3>
  7. (cave goblin skull) (baked potato) (zombie mask) (coconut shell) (cooking apple) (zombie gloves)
  8. Not always. It depends on certain factors, such as whether m is higher or lower than e, whether e is a positive or negative number, current stock market trends, user input, and shoe size. So there are some exceptions, but they are generally disregarded because nobody in the world is smart enough to disprove it. Jelly donuts are your favorite.
  9. Have anything constructive to say? Or is that it?
  10. good point on the coffers... not so big of a problem with the butler. Im not 100% what he can take out but you cant do "bring me all mine coins now!!!" I think he can only take out planks and logs...and they are un-notted too when they are brought to you. even if you had millions of mahog planks in your bank it might not even be worth the hackers time and effor to get them. this is the fastest way i can think of a hacker getting the logs from your bank..and its very slow. they would have 2 computers set up side by side. One logged onto your account, the other the account which they are going to trasfer the stuff. You are in your house and keep having the butler go get you logs. After each trip you must telly out of your house to CW or somewhere where the other account would be and then trade the planks to him...then telly back to your house, wait for it to load, and go again. The butler can also pull gold leaves and marble bricks, which are quite expensive. The hundreds of thousands of coins per item would be worth the trips to cwars until they empty the bank of them.
  11. I'd love to start a clan like that, if only more of us had that kind of money to burn. It would be interesting to see, though, all the 15s in cwars attacking one group and then hitting the area with the catapult. If there were enough of them, it could also theoretically be used to own the chaos elemental, so long as they had some way to keep going back. It would be possible to get 45 magic without raising hitpoints, although that would raise combat, it would allow them to glory to edge, bank, seers tele, and run back to ardy. So many things could be done with it =P~
  12. Hmm, lets do the math... Dragon Chain: Retail Price: 19.5m Torag Plate Body: Retail Price: 1.2m (Note: Both of these were found on the RuneScape.com forums just now) That means that you're paying an extra 18.3m to basically... have worse stats at the benefit of not having to pay for repairs? Okay okay, so there HAS to be a reason people would get this! Lets look at it. I mean, repairs seem to be so expensive, they are being portrayed as these huge payments to no one, but... wait a minute, 90k to repair a body? That isn't as much as they make it sound... okay okay, lets brake this down some more! They have to be right in that it's more expensive with the Torag Plate, don't they? 18,300,000 / 90,000 = 203.33333 repairs. So... 203.33333 * 15 (hours) = 3049.999999999995 hours of using Torag (at 90k per repair) So for that 18.3m that you aren't spending on that dragon chain, you could get 127 days worth of training with that torag plate. Wow, Torag does seem like a better option. But wait! It gets better! Thanks to the new POH Workshop, at level 55 Construction, you can cut your repair costs in half! That's right! Now you have 254 days with that armor! But wait, there's more! That's 69.6% of a year! And that's playing 24 hours a day! Wow... so again, why would you want a dragon chain? Oh yeah, because you're greedy and you want to show off your ability to scam people, great move, ya swell person. well, here's the thing. People who have a dragon chain, either: a) have it to show off their wealth, which makes sense, being the most expensive piece of armor in the game. (even though I'd use a mask for this) By the way it is possible to obtain 19.5 million gp without scamming. I've done it a few times myself. OR B) they use it to train combat. This makes sense too, as it's the best armor that you can get without having to pay for repairs on it. Now we have this to consider: If you buy a dragon chain today for 19.5mil, and train with it for 120 hours over the next month, you can sell it for nearly the same price you bought it for. If you did the same with torag, you would have to pay 720k to a npc for all the maintainance, which you lose no matter what, added on to the price difference if it drops in that time. And I am pretty sure the dragon chain doesn't drop 720k in price every month. Now for the reduced costs, that depends on your smithing level. you pay normal price at level 1, and a little less for each level after that, and about half of the normal price at 99. But check this out: According to the highscores, only 260 people have 99 smithing. It's more reasonable to say that most people deciding between dragon and barrows have probably around 50-70 smithing. So their discount will be around 25-35%, which is still better than nothing. But you should know it's not always half.
  13. I see you only had 5 types of herb seeds there. Were any of them worthwhile?
  14. Actually it would. They could be programmed to find the operator in the math problem, and from there it could determine what the two numbers are based on the operator's location in the text.
  15. Nah, that can't really happen. Imagine if you forgot your pin and had to wait a few days to get in your bank. If you still have access to your inventory, you can do some kind of harvesting/collecting while you wait it out. But if you don't, you are pretty much screwed until the pin is lifted. If it makes you paranoid, the best thing to do is bank all of your items when you log out. my dad gets really mad at me if he sees me playing and i need to close my window as fast as possible if he comes along...wont have enought time to get to a bank Jagex could put put it up and then if you want it then get one otherwise dont... ***sometimes you could lagg and when your back on you get hacked, happened to me Makes sense to me. But at the same time, people who forget their pin need to be able to do something in game while they wait to get their bank back. There are deposit boxes in banks for the very same reason. (they don't require a pin) Now to me, that makes more sense than taking away access to anyone's inventory if they can't remember what their pin was, just because you are disobeying your father by playing the game and want to make sure you don't get caught. It's the risk you take; why restrict what everyone else can do just because you decide to break a rule? dont get a pin if you might forget it...theres always that option Or, leave valuable items in your bank if you are afraid to lose them. ive already explained my prooblem with leaving items in bank...read before you post Yes, I've read it, and responded to it too. this is just going to go in circles unless you start reading too.
  16. Rcers at lvl 91 can make 108 nature runes per trip. Upping it to 540 is a little much.
  17. I dunno about this, there are so many ways it could be abused. IF it were to happen, they would have so many restrictions you wouldn't believe it. Because of course, you would not be allowed to tele to the wilderness, the abyss, anwhere with a quest requirement, guilds, dungeons, anywhere near a runecrafting alter, houses, and so on. by the time you get it down to only going places that wouldn't be abused, you might as well just use conventional teleport spells to get around.

  19. That's the problem right there. these items are in the game so people can show how long they have been playing runescape. If you missed one, that's too bad. They don't have any special advantages, they're just for fun.
  20. That's not true, because infinity is already infinite. If you were able to multiply infinity times infinity, thus creating a larger infinity, then the infinity wasn't really infinite after all, and so it was never infinity in the first place. It was five. Therefore, there is no such thing as infinity, and the universe does not exist. Not a single one of you understands what I just said.
  21. Sounds good to me, although my list is short enough I know who everyone is \ What I would really hope for though, is a "Forgiveness" feature to be added to the ignore list. Meaning, you would choose a number of days between 0 and 90, and anyone added to your ignore list would be automatically removed after that period of time has passed. Also, of course, this would have to be an optional feature, and perhaps an option to "lock" a name on your list so it doesn't get removed, for those people who keep coming back for more.
  22. I am against both of these, and here's my reason why.. With Buy All, you allow the person to get all the runes out of a shop, just because they logged in first or have a better connection. This would be similar to, say, changing the kq to having a set number of dragon chains per day, and who ever kills it first gets all of them. Now for the next one... Selling items to a shop adds gp to the game. In small amounts, yes, but it is still creating gp. So I personally can't come up with any reason to make it any easier on us. Another thing to consider is the Onyx gem, which requires 300k tokkul in order to buy it. Selling chaos runes to the TzHaar rune shop is considered the best way of obtaining such a large amount of tokkul. The only reason they can make money off of it, is that most people don't have the patience to sell 33k chaos runes to a shop. So it just hurts these people who suddenly lose a merchanting-type approach to making money, but without the risk of actually merchanting.

  24. Looks like they got it. Here, I'll give them another one to appease them for a little while.
