Ive heard people going to get mage lvls at pest control. Is it good xp for mage and other skills? If so could someone tell me about how much xp per hour it gets at around lvl 95. Thanks. :mrgreen:

First, are you lvl 95 combat? or 95 mage?

 

 

 

Second, it is good magic xp for the sole reason that it is cheaper. You can melee the whole game, then trade in your points for Magic XP, making the XP practically free (instead of having to buy runes).

95 cb or mage btw i think its only good if your on ancients and using burst or barrage

On world 78 I've been able to make about 20 - 25 points an hour. On average I get a game every 2 minutes and win about 90% of games.

 

 

 

How much XP you get in an hour from whacking portals and monsters is pretty variable.

 

 

 

When you trade in the points you get your level squared, divided by 6.

 

 

 

so if you're lvl 80 attack, you'd get (80*80)/6 =1066 XP. There's a +10% bonus on 100 points. Prayer is prayer level squared divided by 12.

 

 

 

You also get 10x your combat level in GP every win.

 

 

 

The cool thing is you can save up the points and get a huge amount of XP in one skill while you're training another.

 

 

 

But it's not a lot of fun when you get a bunch of idiots playing who don't know what they're doing or who don't make any real effort to get the portals.

But,on avg at 83 mage and 95 combat approx. how much xp would I get if i traded all my points for mage xp?

That depends on if your doing damage with melee, or using mage to damage. Also if your using modern or ancient magiks
