00 Quanta
I once hate all rap of any kind. I only listened to 60s, 70s and 80s rock and metal, but now i'm starting to really like Tupac. Really the only rap/hip hop artist i enjoy. He's probably in my top 10 for best lyricist in either rock and rap. My favorite songs by him are Changes, I Ain't Mad at Cha, Ghetto Gospel, Dear Mama, California Love, Thugz Mansion, Brenda's Got a Baby, Hit Em Up, Life Goes On. I don't mind flaming. I like rap/hip pop since I've been listening since I was young, Tupac is my fav Rapper especially his song "Changes" like what u put because it shows what the world is like back then and still now.. IMO he wasnt even a rapper.. unless the word rapper is definded as "a black man speaking poetry" not trying to be racist, there ARE white rappers. but the majority is black. Basicly only white rappers I know are Eminem and Paul Wall, also there are also Asian rappers such as Jin..

Babybyers
Tupac was awesome, and he did sing some "hate" songs, but thats what music is, expressing yourself, and thts how he did it. some people liked it, some didnt. I think Twista is alot faster than anyone, though he isnt really a rapper. As for the best lyrics, Kanye West by far owns the rap world. He is huge right now, and if he improves his solo stuff a bit more he will be a megapower in the game. right now since he is just starting up, he has alot of songs ft. big artists. I suggest anyone who likes Jayz check out Kanye, he wrote alot of Jayzs songs (heart of the city) Just my two cents ~~Byers The Carter III"I can get your brains for a bargain, like I bought it from Target.Hiphop is my supermarket, shoppin' cart full of fake hiphop artists." Even in Tupac's more hateful stuff, as you say, atleast he is still telling a story, expressing himself. He was the last for a long while who had rap as an art, until Mr. West, again as you mentioned, took the mantle up again. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
