pi_stoff
Monkfish are higher XP than sharks, they are also a lot easier than sharks to catch. Monkfish all the way,

BoffoBoy
If you have feathers still, stick to shilo as it's faster exp than monks and zero burn rate if you have been keeping your cooking level on par with your fishing level. The no burn level on monks is roughly 92ish (about 30 levels from the level you can fish them) unless cooking gauntlets were patched to help this update. Cheers! -BB
tyluke
monkfish is harder to get but gives more xp and if your using it for food it works well if u cant catch sharks only 2 skills below level 50 :)
Taito2004
Monkfish are slightly slower than lobsters, but faster than swordfish (from my experience). Monkfish are higher experience (120 each opposed to shark's 110 each.) They also heal 16 which is more than swordfish. 92/99 Fishing | 119/120 Combat | 92/99 Firemaking | 94/99 Fletching | 1878/1900 Total | 85/85 Slayer | 80/80 Prayer
