Hi everyone, I'm in the process of making myself some money (atm I have 2 mill) to get some decent weapons and armour. Right now, I only have full rune + dragon longsword. I never needed more so far, since I got my combat skills mostly in f2p and used my member time to get some skilling done.

 

 

 

I'm not at home in the whole barrows, dragon armour and what have you, so I'd like your advice, fellow tip.it'ers and seasoned warriors. You can base your advice on my stats (see sig). What would I like to do with the armour? Well erm, use it (in contrast with showing off), especially to get my slayer up and who knows, eventually venture on a barrows trip or two and in the long run fight caves? (I'm a sissy, I don't do stuff until I know I can win :P)

 

 

 

What I definitely had in mind already is a whip...

Get the whip then. If you don't like barrows or the dragon armour, then stick with your rune armour. Although an obby shield and a warrior/beserker fremmenik helm would be good.

It's not restricted to the 2 mill... I can get more money, I'd just like to know what to save for...

 

 

 

What are the prices of obby shield and berserker helm?

I'd say go with a whip to start with, then train attack and defence with it, then switch to scimmy and get strength up a bit

 

 

 

after your 80's on all 3 I would go and buy dharoks, I',m lvl 109 with veracs, dharoks + guthans and wud say dharoks is the funnest set

 

 

 

also if anyone says get torags ,DON'T, you spend more money repairin it than you would buying extra food, so stick with rune until you can get dragon armour

 

 

 

 

 

p.s. do not train using barrows as armour unless using full guthans as like I said b4 it is cheaper getting more food than repairin (plus rune stats ain't much worse than barrows)

Berserker is 78k from shop and Obby Shield is 550k.

 

 

 

I also suggest buying a Whip and Obby Shield. Since - going by your sig - you're a girl, then buy a D Skirt, which gives a good bonus and is quite cheap compared to the legs. Then maybe a Cav to replace your Rune Helm :wink:

Whip - 2.8-3mil

 

D Skirt - 800k

 

Black Cav - 1-1.2mil

 

Dark Cav - 250k

 

Tan Cav - 200k.

Okay, thanks for all the info! This helps a lot. The cav would be purely for looks, though? Or do they have some unseen power to them that I am not aware of? :P

dude!! get rid of ur boring rune, get u some rock-shell :D , same stats as rune,but looks hell of a lot better :P

 

 

 

as for weapons,ur not gonna get ne better than whip atm
