June 28, 200620 yr How many times have you said " Buying runes" and get offerd 5000 of them while you only need 200. And in a busy bank its hard to tell the person and they end up declining. There should be a little private trade chat box.
June 29, 200620 yr Suggested thousands of times before, but I still support it. Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
June 29, 200620 yr if you don't fully understand trades then i'll tell you how they work: 1. you say "buying runes" 2. they trade you and put up 5000 runes 3. as you only want 200 and not 5k, you put up the amount of g2p that equals 200 runes 4. the person selling you the runes go to start>programs>accessories>calculator and they work out how many runes you can buy for the amount of gp that you put up Wow, no need for "a little private trade box" if the person that you trade isnt smart enough to do this then click decline and find a new seller. dw about not buying the runes from that person as they aren't very bright and don't deserve to sell their goods. Sig is thanx to Cookie!!!

June 29, 200620 yr Exactly. You need the in trade chat box to barter for prices and items. Without the interference of other merchants. Why do you resist? June 29, 200620 yr Author Happend to me JUST now. "Buying air/mind runes!" Somone offers 4000. I spam "too many runes" and he doesnt see it and walks away. It also stinks when people offer you runes you dont need and you cant tell em to take them out of trade.
June 29, 200620 yr So instead of "buying runes," say "buying up to 2k runes" or however many you're wanting. When I'm trading, I always say what I'm wanting to buy/sell, and at what price, saves a lot of time in the trade screens.
June 29, 200620 yr good idea When I Have It, It's the World's. When I Don't Have It, The World Is Mine.
June 30, 200620 yr I do the same thing... I say "Selling X for Ygps! I have Z to sell!" The other thing is I take my trades to locations that make sense. I sell supersets and prayer pots in Edgeville, where the demand is highest. It's crazy when I'm one of three people in the Canifis bank and one person stands there yelling "Selling Bow strings" or some such. I say, "You know, if you go someplace where there are more people, you might get some offers." And they say, "Really. Wow! Thanks! I never thought of that!" * sigh * - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.
July 3, 200620 yr Yes!!! I have been thinking of the same thing for so long! I have just never posted it. That would make merchanting so much easier
July 3, 200620 yr good idea. I'm assuming most people here have tried to trade at west bank in varrok on world 1  plus if you are trading high priced items wouldnt you like to barter :-k
