i'm 71 mining and after losing a lot of my money staking and getting pked at green dragons i wanna get 85 mining...i was wondering where i should powermine...

I heard powermining granite was good, although for me I did it my way which was still the same/a lil better exp.

Went a place where you can mine 3 iron rocks at one spot, mined, mined, dropped while the ores respawned, took so many concentration, but I actually had better exp per hour than when I tried powermining granite.

If you've done the Lost Tribe quest you could try mining Iron in the Dorgeshuun mines and selling it to Mistag whom is only a stone-throw away from some Iron rocks. It's less clicking than dropping, lets you unload the Iron quicker, and you make yourself some GP in the process.

granite respawns faster and can have more xp i dunno tho does it take longer to mine?

There's no possible way that you got more xp mining iron in ardougne or alkharid or wherever you mined iron where you didn't have to move than mining granite. Iron is max of like 33k an hour, maybe a little more. With granite you can get close to 50k an hour.

When I went for 85 mining, I powermined the 3 iron rocks in al kharid, and Got 40k per hour. I have never mined granite, or in any other place mentioned, so i can't compare.

A recent study done by forum user The_Tallest, over many many loads, and dropping all of the ore, showed that you get at least 23% more experience per hour mining granite than iron.

 

 

 

The Decline seems to have gotten higher numbers. However, power miners definitely agree that granite is the way to go.

Please, I got average of 46k - 49.2k exp per hour powermining iron at my spot, and around 45k exp at granite.

Where are the granite mines?

Granite mines are in the desert, near the pyramid for DT.

k thx for all the advice i'm gonna go with granite cuz it looks liek u get more xp and iron doesnt look as cool :D . I also like the granite because its in a square and whenever i get bored i can just go the other direction :D
