  1. then why'd u click it? well, why do you go to varrock? why do you even play runescape? Because it is a common area to meet people and general trade. As to the second part, why are you still here?
  2. Maybe if Jagex would say..."work" with the community everything would be a little better. For some reason they only do what they want, and make sure everything goes there way. That is apparent from a couple of different issues that have arisen on these forums and the simple fact that they do not even recognize public forums. Quite the opposite actually, they have introduced the KB (which is an excellent guide, gotta give them that) which seperated them almost completely from the outside forums/sites. My personal opinion is that they should definatly hire a PR because they have the worst community relations out of any game I've ever seen. It wouldn't be hard for some PR's to come onto a forum every now and then and just reply here or there, or even just read what the people think. This happens on alot of the Guild Wars forums I am a part of. Hell with GW, Arenanet (company that created GW) has links to the forums they think will help the community on the main site. They have a couple of PR's that come onto forums and help explain some issues that might be going around and try to make things a little clearer. At the moment we have a company who is stuck in it's own little world and will not let the community in. Having said all this, I actually loved the update, there was nothing wrong with it. This was a response about Jagex in general though. hey, y don't u do jagex's job for them? ask 9 million players their opinions on hopw to update the game. seriiously man, that's like asking every1 in london or NYC wether they want to revamp the city, and ask for suggestions. not possible. by the time u get ur answers, they'll b so jumbled that u'll have a max of 20 votes for one option. that's y jagex can't take ur opinion on how to update all of the game, only some parts. btw, nice light bulb joke :XD: If I wanted to do Jagex's job I would have applied already and moved overseas. Obviously it's not easy, and 9 million players is way over. Point is, PR people actually do make the community atleast feel like Jagex is in some way listening. Hell I guess it is too much to ask, they don't even go by thier polls they have on the homepage. Either way, PR positions give people a general sense of "Hey we are Jagex, and we give a [cabbage]."
  3. Jagex..helping out the local strays, or vile, cold filth.

  5. yes they are in our schools on our streets and in our minds And in ur base killin' ur doods
  6. Did Jagex take out the part about having to be 13 years of age to play the game?
  7. Well say what you will, but I have been playing Guild Wars for a while. Since the beginning of last September, I've raked in about 1100 hours played...that's what, 220 hours a month...about 8 hours a day. What can I say, you do what you like to do. I'll probably be playing Runescape that much now because I am on a Guild Wars break.
  8. Just to throw it out there, Teamspeak sucks in comparison to Ventrilo. The quality on ventrilo is just so much better. Teamspeak and Ventrilo are voice programs, use a headset with a mic and you can talk to other people on the internet. For Runescape it would be good for team pking and maybe things like Castle Wars with friends or something that requires alot of teamwork. Personally I don't use it with Runescape, but when I play Guild Wars, Ventrilo is a HUGE part of that.
  9. I've been playing BA alot lately, everyone just needs to find the world. Currently it looks like everyone plays on world 6. That is were I've gotten my rank 5 collector and attack in the past 2 days. There are tons of people there and usually some in every place anyway, so you don't have to worry about getting stuck. Again, the world for BA is: 6
  10. I'll start it off by asking a very simple question. Am I the only person in all of runescape that finds it funny you can get banned for saying a curse word that is censored? I understand the fact that some people do not like the use of curse words, which is fine by me. For that reason, we have censors. There are other people who use curse words at times to vent frustrations. Because of the censor, noone around them has to read everything they type, but can sense that there is something troubling the other person. This allows the happy person to stay happy, and the angry person to become happy. Okay thats all understandable I guess. Coming from someone elses point of view, you could argue that even though it is censored, most people can still pick up on what words are being used, and I guess this is where the problem lies, a maturity problem in my eyes. Even though it is censored, you can still see it. That brings up the maturity issue here at hand. I don't know about anyone else, but at the age of 13, I had heard all the curse words around, coming from slip-ups, just normal talk, and multiple other ways. If I remember correctly, you need to be atleast 13 to signup and play this game anyway. That means that you should be able to handle a couple of curse words here and there, censored on top of that. If you are 13 years old and can't handle a censored curse word, I would just like to wish you luck in your upcoming life, because it's gonna be one hell of a trip. With all of that being said, there needs to be something done over being banned for saying a curse word that is censored in the first place. It is censored for a reason, so it does not offend someone. Then going and being banned for that is just crazy in my opinion. That is like being banned for something you didn't do. You didn't even have the chance to say something offensive to the other person because it was blocked, and then you are banned for that. It just boggles my mind. If someone would like to add some insight to this for me, show me how being banned for a crime you couldn't commit is wrong, please feel free to do so.
  11. Omg I definatly already told someone about this look in one of the clothing threads ><. The guy even insisted it be with a great axe ><.
  12. zzzz, never mind I misread his misspellings.
