ValaraZ
Kill tons of chaos druids. Then buy vials and fill them with water and make pots. Won't cost much and you can sell at least the pray pots. ValaraZ
Killing those chaos druids sounds like a good way to me ! It's one of the easiest ways to get herbs in the game. Another one is doing pest control and using points on herb packs. i wouldn't recommend this though but you can if you want to. idunedain
I am 62 herblore and I will train it again real soon. My approach is to combine herblore and farming. Buy lots of herb seeds, plant them using compost and when you have several hundreds herbs in the bank, make the potions. While the herbs grow you can do anything you want, including gathering second ingredients. Herblore can be raised very fast with a lot of money: simply buy the herbs, vials and 2nds and stay in bank. However, the farming-based method is a lot cheaper and it's the best if you're not in the hurry. As for what potion to make... always try your highest, but some are better than others. For example, toadflax seeds sell for only 1k, while rannar for 15-20k! For the same money you can get a lot more xp! Hope this helps! Anyway, what I like the most about herblore/farming is that I get the xp and the herbs while training other skills. 103 combat | 1M+ xp in each skill (lvl73) | 1800+ skill total | quest capeLevel 86 herblore, 85 farming

dogfever
iduneain is right. Farming is a brilliant way of getting herbs. I prefer not to buy seeds so that I can keep my pots for myself without cost. To do this I kill moss giants in the Varrock sewers, if I range them I can get massive amounts of seeds in one run (usually a rannar or two), atm I'm about to train my thieving so that I can pickpocket master farmers for herb seeds as well. In the course of training my farming to level 40 I got enough herbs to get me to level 38 herblore with plenty left over for when I can be bothered to collect secondary ingredients. Do Fairy Tale pt. 1 if you intend to farm, wielding the magic secateurs you get from this quest increases the number of herbs you get per harvest. df
