I want to have the best ranging equipement that money can buy, but first i'll need to know what that is. If you know what armour/bows has the best bonusses, post it here. If there are 2 items who have the same bonus, they can be put next to each other.

 

After i get a view over several items, ill look up the bonusses and post my conclusion.

 

(Will also do this for melee and mage, but on different threads.)

Their Ranged bonus are identical, but:

 

 

 

1. Black D hide only requires 40 def, though it does require dragon slayer to be completed. Black D Hide as superior Melee defence, and is a LOT cheaper than Karil (50k should get you a set very easily, 60k max)

 

 

 

2. Karil's requires lv 70 defence, and requires 150k per 15 hours (we are throwing the coif outta here, its junk). it has superior Mage and Range defence over Black D Hide.

 

 

 

Depending on what you wanna use it for, take your pick. Black D hide is better if you are ranging things that are melee or pking. Karil's better for barrowing and against ranged and mage foes.

4 reasons to chose black d'hide:

 

- Same range bonus

 

- It's cheaper

 

- You don't have to repair it

 

- No reason to get full karil's if the overall bonus is lower then what i propose.

Barrows gloves are +12 range, slightly better :wink:

Bit? A LOT better, because it has no negatives.

 

 

 

So far in the game, there is NOTHING better than Barrow gloves for ANYTHING relating to combat (except that it doesnt boost bolt spells :P)

U can buy the barrow gloves from the cuil... chest (the chest that gets unlocked after recipe for diaster.
