beniscool218
Ok, so in early June my family got this great new state of the art computer, that everyone just loves and yadda yadda yadda... I was browsing it's features when I realized it had "Windows Media Movie Maker". I tried this out, and figure out how to make basic animations and movies with lame special effects. I made some cartoons and thought they were pretty good, and wanted to let other people see them. So I thought the best way to do this was to create a freewebs site and then advertise wherever I could without getting in trouble. So now I have this site, it's built, it's ready to go, but I can't get the animations embedded onto the site. The site builder even has it's own "Windows Media Movie Maker" embedder button! But whenever I click on it, I browse through the files to find which one I want, and then I select it, the screen goes black, and the whole page freezes, and I have to close it. This happens every time I try. I would really like to get the animations up, but I just can't figure out what it wrong. I will provide the link to the site, so you just can see what I'm dealing with. Later I will provide screen shots of the problem in action, so you will have an even better idea of what's happening. So please browse the site, make sure you know what I'm talking about, and then try to tell me what's wrong, and if you've experienced it before. Thanks! http://www.freewebs.com/soccerben218.htm (Apparently this is an "Abused Domain" so the link won't work. Just replace the "Abused Domain" with freewebs and you'll get there) Click here. If you go there good things will transpire.
mbridges7718
Did you make sure to finish the project? If the move is not fully saved correctly it will not upload.
weezcake
Have you tried doing it on another computer (a friend's computer, perhaps)? ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
Mercifull
Try using a different browser to upload your files. Or perhaps freewebs has a limit on the filesize that the videos can be? I'm pretty sure the project is finished and saved, but I'll check again. Click here. If you go there good things will transpire.
beniscool218
Have you tried doing it on another computer (a friend's computer, perhaps)? Well, that could work, but unfortunately my friend with the best computer is at camp in Wisconsin and won't be back until September (Dalcyte). My other friend with a good computer has been out of contact for like 2 weeks, and my third friend with a good computer, lives an hour away from me, and that's just too much time to just go there and fix my website. I know for sure it has nothing to do with it's file size, because I read through the instructions thoroughly, to make sure I had the right sized file. And I only have one browser, which is Internet Explorer, and right now I don't think I'll be able to download another one. Click here. If you go there good things will transpire. It doesn't have to be a "great" computer. Any regular computer will do. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
