magictv
Hi, I ordered myself a new laptop with windows pro as the operating system from dell and managed to select the windows pro without the disc so it just comes installed on the computer and I do not have the operating systed disk which costs an extra ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5.88 ontop. Basically I was wondering if you think if I ring them up and offer to send them ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã6 and a stamped adressed envelope they will send me the disk? If not I'm going to cry, I really really want that disk incase I need to re-install windows. Thanks.   [/bads]
tunaboy692004
If you bought it from dell, that will send you one. Infact, i belive they send them for free if you have the details on the computer you bought. Because with mine i didnt order a disk, and i just told them the purchase information and they sent me mine. weezcake
I'd call Dell and ask them about it. You're usually really nice about replacing things and/or sending you things for free  ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. magictv
Thanks for the replies guys, and thanks for the accidental compliment there weez ;) When I ring them should I ring the guy who I bought the computer off or should I ring the main line again? Thanks again. EDIT: Also what should I say to them? [/bads]
Mercifull
Ring Dell and say you want a windows disc. Be sure to have the licence details to hand when you call. weezcake
Thanks for the replies guys, and thanks for the accidental compliment there weez ;) Hah, no problem. I'd call Dell's customer service and explain your situation. And have your service tag ready! ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
