July 14, 200620 yr Well for a while now I have been thinking about the limited amount of good Staves compared to the amount of Rune that are on the market, therefore I have come up with 2 ideas, could you please tell me which one you prefer and why.... Elemental Staff Well unless I am mistaken I believe the Abssyl (sp) Monsters drop Elemenal talismans so why not drop an Elemental Staff? It would take the place of all elemental runes (fire, air, water, earth) and would be a Rare Drop from the Abyssl Monsters. I figure that the risk is equal to the reward as there is a possibility of being Pked while in the Wildy, you will be skulled which means you could lose all of your items... More Combo Staff's More Staff's like the Mud and Lava staff. Mainly I am thinking Smoke, Mist and Dust Staves would be the most usefull. Again they could be a rare drop from a High Level Slayer Monster or from any Boss Monster (KQ, KBD etc) What do you think? I_Xpk3r_I: Future Mayhem Maker
July 14, 200620 yr Funny, didn't someone try to suggest this already a day or two ago? There are enough staffs as it is. Jagex added the RUNECRAFTING skill for a reason. I am a tree.

July 14, 200620 yr Considering the majority of the cost of a spell is in the non-elemental rune, and that modern mages all use god staves, I doubt having Smoke, Mist, Steam or Dust Staves would be that much of a problem, especially when they are very rare and no one wants to risk them in the Wilderness. Same for the Elemental Staff, although admittedly it is still a bit overpowered considering how easy it is to access the Abyss, and the weak monsters within. Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
