Daggonoths at my level?

I got an assignment for 73 daggonoths.My combat stats are:

 

71 attack

 

66 strength

 

62 defense

 

60 range

 

62 magic

 

45 prayer

 

67 hitpoints

 

 

 

I have a whip and full rune.

 

 

 

I don't have a cannon,but I could buy one for this assignment.How many cannonballs would I need?

 

 

 

So could I do this?And where is the best place to fight them?

You can, just get the best range def(eg. obby shield/granite).

 

 

 

Get about 1k or so c balls, and you're set. Kill the ones under the lighthouse, don't kill the ones in waterbirth.

I had serious trouble slaying daggonoths in full rune, mith boots using dds and d long. I use a lot of food (tuna potatoes) at the waterbirth ones, and I coudn't slay very many in one trip. Stats were a bit lower then, but still higher then yours now.

 

 

 

If you are able to buy a cannon, do it (so I heard, don't own one myself) because they are said to be great range xp. I don't know whether there's a difference between the lighthouse ones and the Waterbirth ones.

Yes, the ones at waterbirth hit alot more and alot higher than the ones down in the lighthouse so id suggest going to the lighthouse ones as with your stats you could stay for for a whole trip \

thanks,I did the trip with mostly melee after I used about 100 cannonballs.didn't use much food the whole time.
