Sinkhan
I have a few .wmv's and .avi's I got off the web but I want to cut some parts out and move them around. Anyone know of a free program that does this? Oh and if you know about any program that does the same thing for sound files (preferrably .wav's and .mp3's) but is more comprehensive than Windows Sound Recorder, then that would be appreciated too. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
count_chocula
Well you could try Windows movie maker first, because it comes with windows XP. It is located at "C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk[Caution: Executable File]" For trimming and moving audio I use a program called Audacity, it works great and it is free and open source
weezcake
Audacity is a good sound program. It's a bit more complicated, but you can use it to edit/record sound files. :) http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ As for videos, I'd try Windows Movie Maker, since it's already on your computer. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
