fangyongren
Hello everyone, Before I go back into members I want to get my combat lvl higher without paying for it. This is my general game plan... Kill deadly red spiders on that island, when I need food go fish some. This seems to be quicker then actually going to the bank to get more lobbies, plus I don't have any ^_^ To get Combat 100+ I have a rough idea where my stats need to be... What I need advise on is how to lvl the stats. I was planning to get everything to 60, then do control attacking until I get my desired goal. What do you all think? Thanks, --Fangyongren
kwimbob
If you're actually going to train on red spiders all the way then keep your defence at 40 if they're not hurting you much (which I don't think they would be?) so that you can get the other stats high because they will affect the future training on the red spiders. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
fangyongren
Eventually I would raise my defense though right? You are just saying that more Strength and Attack levels will have a bigger overall effect on my training? If that is the case, which do I do first? How do I increment the lvls? I really want to be as efficient as possible. Thank you...

You are just saying that more Strength and Attack levels will have a bigger overall effect on my training? If that is the case, which do I do first? How do I increment the lvls? I really want to be as efficient as possible. Thank you... So currently on the red spiders you should already be hitting: Accurately most of the time Decently large damages And being hit quite rarely Because of that you don't really need to train defence much at all if you're continuing to fight red spiders because it's already high enough for the red spider purpose. Your attack level is also pretty good because you probably aren't missing them very often and you can leave the attack lvl but it's somewhat of a priority even for the red spiders. Your strength wants to go higher because you already are accurate and why not use the current experience to boost those accurate hits strength. Now I see you're already almost 60 str, so go ahead and push it there. Then push the attack there. Then if you currently don't need much food there you may only want to bring defence up to 50 and then push str to 70, attack to 70, then defence to 70. And then you can relax on the way to 80 with controlled. That sounds like a good plan for the red spiders. Foooman
I'd get 60 strength, then 60 Attack, then work up to 50 defence. Should keep you busy for a while.
fangyongren
Thank you guys. I appreciate your help. How long should I expect to be fighting these spiders for my goals? Any idea hour wise? Do you think it would be accurate to bench mark my exp I gain in an hour and like try to figure out how long it will take in general? Of course the first estimate should be over since I will be getting better and getting more exp an hour. Just wondering if that is a some what accurate way to protray train time... Thanks again, --Fangyongren
devoted12
I would get to 60 attack, so when you become a member you can use a dragon item as a weapon. I would advise also 60 strength like the man above me alone with 50 defense... I wish you luck Devoted12
Foooman
~5559900xp needed in your plan. at 30000xp per hour = 185.33hours. at 35000xp per hour = 158.85hours. at 40000xp per hour = 138.99hours. at 45000xp per hour = 123.55hours. I doubt you can get much higher than 45k xp per hours on f2p. But best of luck to you.
nightzero
i'm thinking that though red spiders is a good place to train, i think that moss giants nearby are better training. since u are a little low lvl i think get all def attack and str to say..65 then increase defense to 70 and u wont get hit much then train ure attack and str to 70 on moss giants and then u can use controlled all the way to 80 and maybe not even there because the reason im suggesting moss giants is that they drop big bones and other goodies. So ure prayer would get higher meaning u wouldnt need like 80 for atck def and str therefor makign it faster. moss giants are located in crandor after finish dragon slayer there is s door right above the spiders. a little mroe walkign but worth it I'm lvl 99 btw :D lulz wut? fangyongren
Thank for the calculations fooman... I thought this task was more daunting then that. I don't consider that too bad... Espically if I put only 1-2 hours into the game. I might not meet my goal, but eventually ill get there. Thank for all you input guys.
