seed merchanting

Heard this was a good way of making money (and a way to make money while making money alching) , only thing is I dont know the basics of it . If anyone can tell me the general scope (what seeds to merchant , buying price selling price that type of stuff) id appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

personally, i don't see how you could merchant while alching in the first place. you'd need to be chekcing the forums for prices, and alching needs almost full attention. If i were you i'd rather be standing in a camelot bank looking out for good deals. (that's also where most tree seeds get sold anyway, and those are the ones you could profit on).

If you get a variety of tree and fruit tree seeds, people are willing to pay more per seed. I'm only 59 farming and tree seeds are the only sane way of leveling farming. I can't stand chain farming because it drives me nuts. People are willing to pay top dollar for an good assortment of seeds. I was able to sell mage tree seed (twice) for 180k each just because of the seeds that were in the sale.

 

 

 

Edit - I got most of the seeds from cutting willows in Draynor. I also got a few seeds because because people just drop the seeds. I found one yew, 3 maples, 2 willows, papaya, curry, 3 orange, and a banana on the ground in Draynor. \

If you ahve 32 farming, you can plant ranarr seeds and easily get triple money from the herbs.

Buy the seeds before hand and sell while alching. I guess i just need to get farming up and sell herbs.
