aquariusman
Right now I am trying to get my rune crafting from level 48 to 50. I would also like to use the runes I craft to raise my magic to 60. I am crafting body runes so i can use curse to get my runecrafting to that level, seeing as they give the most F2P experience. right now if i were to craft mind runes instead, i would need to craft about 600 more rune essence into mind runes then i would into bbody runes. I am looking for the best, most efficient and easiest way to get runecrafting to 50 and magic to 60. And by the way, I would need to cast 5000 fire strikes versus 4000 curses in order to achieve these levels. Not only that, but I make 2 body runes per essence and 4 mind runes per essence. Thank you in advance for your contributions. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. LJoker
In my opinion you win in magic: 29xp each Body rune while training with course spell. 1 click each spell. 16.5xp each Mind rune while training fire strikes on lesser demons. If you don't really care about money and want to level up real fast and dont mind about of making lot's of mouse click then continue with curse spell. Because the runecrafting if alot faster and the Magic also level up faster. While doing it you can also buy Body runes from other people. About runecrafting, Mind runes are really slow to runecraft. You will level up Runecrafting faster with Air runes or Fire runes. So my advice is: - Runecraft Air runes - Buy Mind runes at shop - Use Fire staff for training with Lesser Demons or Knights using Fire strike. (with the drops of Lesser Demons you will win money to buy more mind runes. Try to buy mind runes when they have in shop between 5000 and 3000). D. V. Devnull
You'll have to go with the Fire Strike. Why? Because curse only works maybe 1 time in 10 minutes on a target. Why? Because after you launch stuff like curse/weaken/confuse, the target becomes temporarily immune to further hits from the spell. :( And btw, craft fire and mind runes. I know it takes a bit of patience, but it is well worth it. And if you have more than about 400 body runes, you have far too many. Sell a bunch to Aubury in Varrock and Betty in Port Sarim. Get some cash for the crafting. :) and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... pro28
You could wear armor and cast curse on the Zamorak monk in the Varrock Castle, curse wears off on him in about 1 second.

For example, using Rune Armor or Dragonhide Armor will drop your Magic Offense bonus to the -40s. At that rate, you rarely hit. I've seen people downstairs of the Magic Guild in full Bronze armor with a Mud Staff, continuously casting Curse on the Zombies with the 100k Body Runes they've bought upstairs. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

Even though I've had an unpleaseant experience trying to craft air runes (50,000 essence without runners*shivers*) Also for anyone that told me about sursing, I tried using it just to get a few thousand xp to get 55 magic, and it is not only slow, which I'm fine with, but it requires almost full attention, meaning i cannot browse forums to alleviete my boredom. But thanks anyways, I know you were trying to help. There's no such thing as regret.
