PURESMITHER Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 Hi, I'm crafting with my method at the moment and I want to know if this method is any good. Inventory: 150 threads 3 needles (yes, they are stackable) 100gp Wielded: Full rune + scimmy and brown apron. Method: 1. Go to the cow field next to the crafting guild. 2. Get 25 cow hides. 3. Go to the tanner and tan them for 3 gp each into hard leather. 4. Use needle with hard leather (x 25). 5. Sell Hard leather bodies at gen store in Rimmington for 17 - 68 gp. (Making 14-65 gp profit.) 6. Repeat this process until you run out of thread. I now have about 105 thread left, and you use 5 thread per 25 bodies. Is this an effective way of crafting? Notes: I favour this method because I go up prayer and strength levels. I kill the cows in 1, 2 or 3 hits. I am f2p. tortilliachp Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 it's a very very cheap way of leveling crafting. I used to do that when i was low on cash and wanted crafting levels. If you don't want to buy anything i think that's the fastest way. making pottery in the crafting guild (40+ crafting requiered) is also decent but very very boring. good luck getting high crafting :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rcty Posted July 29, 2006 Share Posted July 29, 2006 I personally like the following method: Don't have anything on AT ALL. Get 13 buckets from the bank. Go to Entrana. Pick up 13 seaweed from the north-west corner of the island. Cook them on the range by the furnace. Fill your 13 buckets of sand at the sandpit. Get glassblowing pipe from on of the range houses. Make 13 molten glass (use bucket of sand on furnace). Make 13 of the best glass items you can. Repeat except you don't have to get the glassblowing pipe again. ishepp Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 Cuts for uncuts is slow because there are so few people who need it. Your method is good if you want a bit of combat xp. Bowls in the guild is faster for crafting xp if thats your only aim, and its free. Personally I don't think theres much point walking to rimmington to sell, its not worth it for 17gp per body.
