Files associations I have checked, I'll edit this with a screenshot of them in a sec. Everything seems normal, every video files plays in WMP and audio does not. EDIT: here's the screenshot

August 1, 200619 yr Author Does Mplayer work in Windows? If it does try that. Just google it. Yes it does work in Windows. What should I google then? Do you have any script blockers? I had a simalar problem due to "NO Script" in firefox... The plugin page is a old support for WMP in third party browsers.. run it and then run windows update I don't have any script blockers. This happens in IE too so I think it may not be with firefox settings. The plugin page just pionts me where to download WMP (10 or 9). I was going to install version 9, but I have a later version and I can't. WMP is not in add-remove program files, how should I uninstall it? EDIT: nvm i found out how to uninstall it, you got to click "show updates" in add-remove programs. EDIT2: Well I have uninstalled WMP11 using the Microsoft FAQ and then installed 10. Guess what? It still doesn't work.
