I've seen the costs of servants in guides. All guides also mention the servants demand wages. However, none of these guides actually sais how much this wage is. How much is it?

The same wage as the cost to hire them...so 10k for demon butler, 5k for normal butler, 3k for the next person I think...and I don't know after that.

maid: 1K

 

cook: 3K

 

butler: 5K

 

demon butler: 10K

The butler is probably the most cost-efficient while the demon butler is the fastest/most expensive. For fast levels go with the demon but for long term leveling go with the butler since the speed is not worth the cost. In lots of situations it isn't even noticable.

All of the butlers work in the same manner except for 3 things: 1. the higher they are the faster they work 2. the higher they are the more they carry 3. the lower ones cannot make planks.

I pay my butler every 8 trips. As I do my levelling with oaks, I use him to redeem 20 oak logs from the bank, and go to the saw mill 4 times each. This whole process costs 20k (for the sawmill trips) and 5k for paying him. Therefore, I am effectively paying 1.25 the amount I would normally pay for the logs.

 

 

 

Working it out for 3000 logs (which is how many i do in a trip)

 

3000/20 (total number of trips required) = 150 trips

 

150*5000 (for sawmill) = 750000 gp total to convert all those logs.

 

7500000*1.25 (to pay butler) = 937500gp in total for 3k logs.

 

 

 

compare this with using the demon butler (assumin payment for the same number of trips), the scaling is 1.5, so the same 3k oak logs will cost

 

7500000*1.5=1.125Mil (a difference of 187.5k to use the demon butler, but faster)
