  2. I'm not new on these forums, but I never introduced myself so: Hi, my name is Lode, and I play ArenaScape.
  3. OMG IM OLDSKOOL MAN! IM SO OLDSKOOL THAT I CAN TYPE IN ALL CAPS AND STUFF! RESPECT ME FOR OLDSKOOL IS ME!
  4. banned for unbanning someone in a thread that is about banning

  6. You need al 4 types of greegrees for the Recipe for disaster quest, that's what I need them for (including the gorilla one)
  7. How do you get those greegrees? Is it possible to solo the gorilla? Thanks!
  8. The mourners outfit and new key are required to get the the temple of mournings ends part II I now finished that quest, but the death altar is in that temple. The mourners outfit and new key are pure bankspace wasters though imo and I'd like to drop them. Can I safely drop them and still have access to the temple, or the death altar? EDIT: grrr, add the "trinket" to the list, gotta hate bankspace-taking quest rewards
  9. noob: ur a noob me: no ur a noob noob: no u, im reporting u me: o rly? noob: ya rly me: srsly? noob: noob *suddenly noob gets attacked by level 2 spider and gets owned badly, he drops 5 blue party hats, 2 whips and full dragon* me: haha, noob too bad, that's what this thread is degrading into
  10. I support this idea: it is really difficult on f2p to manage your bank with the little space there is.
  11. That's wrong, it stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, not "Multi-Mass" And yes, I'm aware that correcting a geeky word in a thread where people are bashing geeks is sort of ironic. Also, stop bashing geeks and posting those stereotypes. And to people posting in here "I'm not a geek, I got so many girlfriends last years", I find the fact that you're trying to defend yourself in this thread, while you're not even attacked, a sign that you're unconfortable with your self-image, after all someone who is confortable with it has no reason to defend or prove it. Let people be as they are.
  12. Those names like customer_support, are the names they give for types of news items, but it seems they've lost it, because this isn't a customer support related news item at all. It used to match though :)
  13. OMG NICE! I sort of believe something like this happened except the 4x dragon longsword and 4x abbysal whip part.
  14. What a coincidence! The author says his goal is to complete all quests, and only Desert Treasure and Recipe are left, while Mourning Ends Part II was very difficult for him. I also want to do all quests, and I have 3 quests left: Desert Treasure, Recipe, and... Mourning Ends Part II, where I keep falling. Desert Treasure is terrible because the monsters are impossible to fight alone, I lost a full inventory of 4-dose prayer potions TWICE on the same monster and it still isn't dead!
  15. I don't see why not knowing what hyt means is noobish, it's a tip.it thing after all
  16. Very nice guide! I'd like to know, where did you get some of the info from, like "you can report someone for offensive language only after he spams something at least 8 times"? I haven't found this info anywhere else myself. I'd like to know if you're a player mod and got some knowledge from there?
  17. Wow, just wow, I didn't know the locations were that exact. I'm surprised that out of the huge group of players something like fixed spots for trading certain armor sets could even exist! I'm sure not everyone who sells an ahrim's set knows about that spot :) The phat location is a bit further than you showed on the map I think, namely here:
  18. Why is everquest called everquest, or why is starcraft called starcraft? Just good sounding names that sell.
  19. I use different methods to do bulk tasks quicker in RS, and I'm sure many of those are used by other people too, but maybe not all by everyone, so I thought I'd make a guide explaining what methods I use. 1. bulk selling to general store This is my favorite one. I sold 3500 maple longbows to the general store in 3 minutes. Here's how: First, put the items you want to sell in the bottom row of your inventory. Click on the spot I showed in red on the screenshot above, and the menu appears, with your mouse exactly on the "sell 10" option! Only if the item is in that exact inventory row, and only if you click on that exact spot with the mouse, will the "sell 10" option appear exactly under the mouse cursor. The advantage of this is that you don't have to move the mouse!. So all you have to do is alternate very quickly between the left and right mouse button. To have the optimal speed, I held the mouse fixed with my left hand (so that it certainly wouldn't move), and with my right hand alternated between the left and right mouse button. It went so fast, that if I stopped clicking, I saw the game still busy selling longbows per 10 for another 5 times, because it couldn't follow. Only 3 minutes later, it resulted in this: 2. High Alching This one is pretty obvious, though since the magic icons moved a little bit harder. Just put the notes you're high alching in the inventory spot that's at the same location as the high alch button, and then left click all the time, while not moving the mouse. You have to wait until the spell is done before clicking it again. Apart from the speed and not having to move the mouse, another advantage is that you can't accidently slip on another item in your inventory (if none are near that spot) The spot where to click is marked in red in the spellbook. (The str pots are just a fictive example, I didn't find a good high alchable item in my bank to show in bulk) If you click on the location of the red dot, then the mouse will appear exactly above the notes you want to high alch. 3. Emptying buckets This one is again about putting the item (bucket in this case) in a correct row of the inventory so that the "empty" option will appear right under the mouse button if you click. It helps me farm a little bit faster if I need to empty normal compost buckets. Put the buckets in the second last row. This probably also works for other things you want to empty like vials. 4. Using items on each other For herblore and fletching, you need to use items on each other. If you use the last two of your inventory on each other, then the first ones actually get combined while the last ones stay where they are. So, at the bottom right of your inventory, put one of each of the items to combine, then you can just keep the mouse around there and keep clicking on the same last items all the time, until all items are combined. Here's the example for stringing bows. I just alternate between clicking on the bottom right string and bow. 5. Taking new items from bank without typing numbers When smelting bars (for example steel bars), you need to take 9 iron and 18 coal all the time. You can get back and forth between bank and furnace without ever having to type the number 9 and 18: first get an inventory of 9 iron and 18 coal. Then smelt it, you get 9 steel bars. Then go to bank, use "withdraw all" on coal, so that you have 9 steel bars and 18 coal in your inventory. Then do "desosit all" on the steel bars so you have 9 new free spots. Then do withdraw all on iron, and the 9 spots are filled up again. This makes this all a bit quicker. You need 1 dummy item in your inventory in this case because 9 iron and 18 coal take up 27, not 28, inventory spots. The same works for bows, with 14 unstrung bows and 14 strings in this case: So, that was the quick clicking guide, I hope it's useful. Copyright © 2006, Lode
