Of tree guards, stew, and coins

Featured Replies

I was just at the Draynor Bank, getting ready to go do some fishing at KAramja. Part of my preparations includes chopping a few logs to take with me to cook my catches, but the first tree I tried chopping yelled at me! At first, I thought it was some new Random Event Jagex put into the game that they negleted to tell us about, but during my conversations with the guard, I realized it was just a silly NPC they added at some point. During these conversations, the guard asked me to bring him some stew, and on a whim I did. When I used the stew on the tree, the guard thanked me by giving me 30 coins!

What's my point? Uh...watch where cut trees, and if you have 25 Cooking and are looking for some pocket change, try giving him some stew. You can't miss him; his legs are dangling from the tree boughs. Also, I thought it was amusing enough to share.
