August 3, 200619 yr It's probably a silly idea, but what if JAgex actually added something to their Jagex Store that people would actually use, like action figures? The way I envision it is this: You have to login to get a figure that looks exactly like your in-game character. There's be one flat price for the basic figure; a figure of a lvl3 would cost just as much as a lvl126. But, you could also buy all the available armor, weapons and other equippable apparel to outfit your figure with. If successful, Jagex could expand the line to include various popular NPCs like KBDs, Kalphite Queens, Lesser and Greater Demons, maybe even some Random Events. If nothing else, it'd be a fun, legal way to sell RuneScape "characters" on eBay. Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory.

August 3, 200619 yr Author Actually, if it became successful, it could make membership prices go down by providing an alternate source of income. And they could always give a toy company like McFarlane Toys or whoever does the Halo toys a liscence to produce the figures. Granted, the high level of customization might make that difficult, but if the parts were made modular or swappable, it could work. Maybe make them similar to Lego's Bionicle or Knight's Kingdom sets with a large number of interchangeable pieces with a variety of customization pieces to make each set/figure unique.
