Well apparently I can't do Tears of Guthix today, but that's ok. I'll get it tomorrow.

I've been buying burnt lobsters and sharks on the GE(look at my signature!) and it's been going ok. People have caught on that there are crazy people that do such things and are selling them.

I'm currently woodcutting oaks for construction. I've also got less than 200 yew longbows to alch. I unexpectedly died while woodcutting from a tree spirit(I wasn't paying attention AND I had a ring of Life on... :wall:  ). But I got all my stuff back and I made a friend in the process. So a good day so far.

I've also updated my forum signature and avatar. Enjoy.

This will probably be the last journal for the year. I hope you guys all had a good break(so far) and I wish you Happy Holidays.

So today I got 63 Construction. I also added a throne room, oak throne, Teak Shelves 2, and a Spiral Staircase(Limestone). That level puts me at 1590 Total Level(and also 700k poorer  ). I'm also at 92 Combat and on the verge of 93.

Well, it's been nearly a month since I last posted, and a lot has changed (you can see my opinions in this week's Tip.It Times.) Much of the impact hasn't really effected me, but I do find it a disadvantage that I can no longer give large amounts of money or items away for gifts. As some people have put it "a harsh, but necessary action." I really wasn't all that upset that the Wilderness has changed so much. It still creeps me out though. Now instead of PKers, I'm afraid of Revenants. I get goosebumps whenever I go in there. :ohnoes:

That's it for now, Happy Scaping to you all.

Well the forums are finally back up! I would personally like to thank all the time and effort that many people put into this, and some who probably didn't have their name mentioned.

If you've looked at the last post, that was nearly 6 months ago. But that was not the last time I updated this. I have done many things since then, most of those which I reported were lost in the posts that were lost. Most recently, the new Quest: Smoking Kills; 2 clue scrolls, in which one of them brought me a guthix crozier(which suprisingly is only worth about 5k) and a Guthix blessed dragonhide body; achieved some new levels including 57 Summoning, 76 Attack, 76 Defence, and 70 Slayer; and made a ton of money when I made a very good financial move. Now I had not checked the prices on dragon armor recently, but it turns out that dragon platelegs and dragon medium helm both significantly dropped since when I last thought about how much they cost. So I sold my saradomin rune platelegs and platebody and bought Dragon platelegs, dragon medium helm, and granite body and still made at least 800k in the process.

Going back to the Guthix crozier now. I decided to keep it because it only cost 5k. I did some price checking and found out that the Guthix Stole was only 19k! So after selling the Guthix blessed dragonhide piece, I bought a Guthix stole and Guthix Mitre. The Guthix mitre gives the best prayer bonus of any headpiece you might find, and the Guthix stole gives a whopping +10 prayer bonus, better than the Guthix Robe Top and Guthix Robe Bottom. Which, those two items are both over 100k each! So why have the Runescape markets set it at those prices? Apparently style has long dominated over combat benefits in this world of Runescape we enjoy. (I actually proved that when I bought the Sara plate armor when I had no good reason) This makes no sense to me. Anyone who looked over anything would clearly buy the Stole because of it's prayer bonus(which is 2 better than the other two pieces combined) and you would think that it would be demanded more(or maybe Jagex would set a higher price?). I see no benefit in buying these robes for the prayer bonus because the druid's robes(which are dropped by followers of Guthix) give the exact same bonus! And Monk's Robes, which are relatively cheap and easily obtainable in the Monastery, give 3-point better bonus! And those are practically free! <.< -.- Yes, I am a little disgusted at that.

Well I hope you enjoy these new forums, and I wish you all Happy Scaping!

So I'm sure most of you know about some of the uproar over the new high requirement of the latest quest Rocking Out. I am slightly disappointed, especially because you cannot use a level booster such as a dwarven stout to complete the quest. I found that out the hard way after training on Iron using rings of forging(so horribly slow). I figured out that training on mithril with the use of the Blast Furnace was not only faster but hey! I actually earn some money even after buying all the raw materials! What's great about the blast furnace is it cuts coal in half. After smithing mithril platebodies, I will either sell them or high-alch them, depending on how much I get for selling them. I would rather high alch them.

So that's what I'm gonna be doing for the next week or two. Happy Scaping all!

So it's about that time of year again where I actually find time to update this. Right now I'm mining clay to make house teletablets to aid in flatpacking for construction. But at this point I have realized that I need to make a mahogany lectern so I can make the house teletables myself. Which means I'll need to spend 130k on a gold leaf. Not too bad though, I've been making battlestaves 3 or 4 times a week for the past month, and the cash adds up. Summoning has officially passed Runecrafting in exp, which makes Runecrafting my lowest skill. Now, unless I train one of those heavily, the Tears of Guthix will give me exp in those two skills and prayer and herblore, depending on when they all catch up. Farming has taken a leap ahead because I've done so many oak and fruit trees. It's nice exp. And those fruit trees are really quite cheap! It's a steal! Go check it out on the Grand Exchange!

Wow I really haven't updated this in awhile. Nor have I really played in awhile. But the call of two new quests and an achievement diary lured me back in, especially since my free time has increased a bit since then.

Just two days ago I got my first dragon drop ever! A shield left half! I also got the 3 crystal key halves that day, one tooth half is pictured in the below picture. In more recent aberrant specter slayings, I've gotten 3 rune full helms. I guess my ring of wealth works after all.

I also just recently got a friend to play Runescape. It is interesting watching them, because they do not have the same difficulties or advantages that I had when I started playing over 5 years ago. They are content doing little tasks such as collecting cow hides, bread, chickens, or balls of wool for various NPCs around Lumbridge. I've taught them how to tan hides and make leather materials, and I showed them where an anvil in Varrock was. Yet the friend hasn't really jumped on this yet. They also made their first 10k already within 3 days of playing(I guess the 5k from the holiday quest helped). I also still have to convince them to start trying ranged, magic, and runecrafting. It will be interesting to see how they develop as a player. I also feel very inclined to help them; I've already given them two sets of iron armor and some iron arrows.

I wish you Happy Scaping and a Merry Christmas!

Once again, it is time for me to update this, since I only do it about twice a year. >_>

I've almost got all my levels up to 70. I also completed all the Diaries up to this point and I still have the Quest cape(loved the Hunt for Red Raktuber!) I'm excited for more quests. Bought full dragon finally. I've also found I love killing evil trees, it's a fun minigame.

Now here's what I really wanted to post about: 4 screenshots. These are from playing Vinesweeper. We got quite a bit of land uncovered... until someone who didn't know how to play messed it up. #-o :wall:
