September 1, 200619 yr Author Friday, September 1 So a lot of interesting things happened in the past few days. On wednesday I was cutting oaks for constructon when I got an apple tree seed. 2 loads later I got a banana tree seed. 3 loads later an acorn, and then only 3 logs later another acorn! That tree must've like me. :P On Thursday Ortiz finally got his membership. I made him some rings of forging, and rings of dueling. We dueled some with range in which I won(Crystal shield FTW!). He's only like 3-4 lvls behind me(I have 65 range) but he has only 1 def(ranging pure) . He gave me a rune crossbow and some bolts but it stunk so I high-alched it. During the day I happened to get both the halves of the crystal key(within like 10 drops of each other) from Rock Slugs and a rune full helm from Jellies without my ring of wealth. Kinda weird. Usually I have to have my ring of wealth and kill like 70+ monsters to get a good drop, but I only killed like 30 of each before I got those drops. Hm. I'm currently in the fishing guild trying to get a fishing lvl, 67. I'll see ya later. Keep watching for a House Party announcement! Keep Scaping, -Foodfight13- *EDIT* I just got 162 deaths and 36 mithril ores from a maze random event! -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. September 4, 200619 yr Author Sunday, September 03 I write this to you from the depths of Karamja Dungeon, hot lava boiling and bubbling behind me. I'm currently ranging lesser demons to get to 68 ranged. I got a hitpoints lvl and hit 90 combat. W00t! :P It's been an eventful last couple of days. I'll try to remember as much as I can. I got a runecrafting lvl crafting like 700 astrals. I posted a guide about that, it's in the Archive of Wisdom. I also got 61 Slayer and 67 Ranged. Those are also my slayer assignment. When maging zombies for a burthroped assignment I got a half key, but didn't bring runes for tele-grab. That was a dissapointment. But I got a half key at Fire Giants. I also got a rune Sq shield and picked up the rune scimmy of a lvl 53 who died. Tried to melee fires with Cakes, lol. I have to say I'm very impressed with all the new graphics Jagex did. *High-fives Jagex*. I'm very excited for the new quest that's coming out this month that takes place in Mortanyia. It sounds very interesting. I did some seed-stealing today, didn't get anything extra special. Also planted some bushes, I have like 41 cadava berry bush seeds. Those are easy farming xp. I've also found them easy to get to using the Fairy Rings. Those have improved my travel by a lot. School is starting up again, so that means my time for this and Runescape itself is limited. I hope to see you all at my house party! Happy Scaping, Foodfight13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. September 7, 200619 yr Author Wednesday, September 6 Well not too much happened. Tuesday I didn't get on RS at all, but Monday I was all over it figuring out that new quest. I managed to do 95% of it without asking for help, including navigating through Meiyerditch. It was a great quest, but it only thickens the plot, leaves more holes, and brings up more questions in the Myreque storyline. I'm going to be looking forward to the next quest in that series. Those cadava berry bushes really help. Like gp. Every little thing goes a long way. Got some jangerberries for supa-compost. I have 1k buckets(picked up 900+ that someone dropped), so I could get lots of Jangerberries and have the max amount of buckets of supercompost. Then I wouldn't have to make more for a LONG time. I don't think I'll do it yet though. Slayer is basilisks, I might go do them, but I think I'll wanna iron-knive them. Trying to get 70 ranged. And the smithing and mining xp is nice, it likes to jump on me. I'll be like, "What? I was that close to a level?" :-s :D :P House party is Sunday, spread the word and invite your friends! September 14, 200619 yr Author Wednesday, September 13 So... my real life has finally caught up with me. I'm sitting on the docks of the fishing guild with my feet in the water, thinking about this. Mondays and Tuesdays are impossible for me to get on. That leaves Sundays, and the afternoons of most weekdays to play. Not much time. Even less time for this. My party wasn't really too much of a success. 5 people showed up, but I did get some good presents. Thanks to those 5 that did. I'm gonna straight to 68 fishing. Then I don't need to make any more fishing pots, which will be useful. September 22, 200619 yr Author Thursday, September 21 Dang, it's been a long time. 1 month in fact. In that time, I've done a few quests, earned cash, pondered on what to spend it on, and recieved the very sad news that my best friend is quitting RS. He gave me lots of stuff, which if he ever decided to play again, I would give back and more. It's going to be hard to leave him behind on RS, but at least I'm able to talk to him in aim. R.I.P. Ortiz_9471 Ortiz9471 Aequus Tres I will miss scaping with you. New quest is great, do it. If you have any idea on what to spend 500k on, post it here. November 20, 200619 yr Author Sunday, November 19th, 2006 So yeah it's been awhile. But I'm back now, and ready for action. I'm especially ready for the new Hunting Skill. That should help me move back up in the ranks towards the top 60,000 where I used to be. I finally finished Rag & Bone Man(very annoying), along with the newest quest Enlightened Journey. I made another player-made guide, check it out here. The Nintendo Wii is out and once I get one, it may keep me from playing again, we'll see. December 10, 200619 yr Author Sunday, December 10, 2006 Well I made it. 1500 total level. I got it with 58 herblore after completing the "My Arm's Big Adventure" quest. January 21, 200719 yr Author Sunday, January 21st, 2007 Well, once again, it's been another month since I updated. Things are coming along smoothly. I only have 4 more quests to do! These are: the final fight in Recipe for Disaster, Mourning's End Part II, Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, and Tai Bwo Wannai Trio(and any Jagex puts out there after I post this). I've been stalling that final fight, maybe I'll do it this week. I need to go fishing for monkfish though. I'm right around 1514 for total level. That's good. I'm also ony 57k xp away from hitting 15 million total xp. I'm not in a rush to get there, but it will be a good goal. Currently working on Runecrafting. Believe it or not, the best non-abyss way to runecraft is Astrals. They're so quick. And if you don't want em, you can sell em to that one lady in the Chicken House. February 25, 200719 yr Author Sunday, February 25, 2007 I've been meaning to update this for awhile. So Ortiz's main is back, and it was good to see that longlost character. Went to CW with him, but a lvl 123 got their own standard, and you know how that goes. While a lot of you have been busily working on your construction(I have a little too), I've been working on some REAL construction in Real Life̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ. And I have to say it's much more fun. Our RS characters don't have the luxury of working with Power Tools such as drills and circular saws, but then again they don't have the agony of messing up a measurement and havign to start over, slivers, lack of nuts and bolts, and other things that come up in Real Life̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ. I do enjoy construction in both worlds though and will continue to work on both. I'm trying to decide whether I should work on getting my woodcutting to 99(and a lot of other skills along the way) or I should do fishing and cooking. And then there's the possibility of working all my skills to XX level. I really can't decide. Until next time, I wish you all Happy Scaping. FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. July 27, 200718 yr Author Friday, July 27, 2007 Wow, has it really been that long? I guess I don't have as much time to update this as much, and sometimes not even enough time to play Runescape itself. And there are other things online I do like MySpace and Facebook. So to update this often is hard. Right now, I stand at the banks of the river that runs through lower Karamja. I'm fishing. I also stand at 1565 total level, 91 combat, with 61 or higher in all levels(except for farming, but that's like less than 2k xp away, so it's close enough =P). I also have the questpoints cape. MEP2 wasn't really that bad. Just sort of annoying. Which is what I find a lot of quests to be. There were actually some hard battles out there, let me tell you. But some quests that are said to be hard are just really more annoying. If you have a huge final boss fight, that's when it gets hard for me. Like in Grim Tales, Recipe for Disaster, and Dream Mentor. Those all had hard boss fights. But the rest of the quest's hard parts were just annoying. So I need to get back to fishing if I want to fish my 15k+ feathers by the end of the summer. Happy Scaping, FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. July 29, 200718 yr Author Sunday, July 29, 2007 Hmm.. it appears I have accumulated a few levels over the past couple days. Now 61+ in every level. I'm pretty bored of fishing and cooking, but still doing it. I may have to change it to an end of the year goal instead of an end of the summer goal. I'm highly dissapointed that I can't use my crystal saw to put in plants on my new formal garden. Put then logically, who uses a saw when planting? So I'll have to get my construction level up 2 so I can use tea to get to the required level. So I'll need to make some cash... anyone wanna buy cooked trout and salmon? =P Happy Scaping, FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. August 19, 200718 yr Author Sunday, August 19, 2007 So I'm still behind on my fishing and cooking. And it doesn't look like I'll be having a whole lot of time to catch up. I like the new player kits. Very nice. But it didn't have the exact beard style I wanted. But still good, well done Jagex. I also REALLY enjoyed the Developer's Diary about Runescape Music. Probably because I like composing music, playing music, running a sound mixer, and using music computer programs in Real Life. It was a good diary and worth the read. Not too much has gone on. I did come across a lvl 106 who died in the lumbridge caves. Managed to grab his rune boots, but someone else who got there first got all the better stuff. So yeah. I guess I'll see you all later. Happy Scaping FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. September 14, 200718 yr Author Thursday, September 13, 2007 Well, it seems real life has caught up with me, and so it's back to school and those other extra-curricular activities that lower my daily Runescape time. Levels are harder to achieve, and so is the 100k experience needed to keep Juna allowing me to do Tears of Guthix. There was that one quest this month, and I thoroughly enjoyed that one. I even spent my time in the new dungeon, I found the warped turtles to be great for killing. And they didn't hit me that hard either. Fishing is still slow, and at this rate, I'm never gonna get 10k feathers done by the end of the year. I have to say the new Achievement Diary is a bit harder. But I don't think I'm going to complete it anytime soon. I'm not wasting 30k to get a special set of armor that will probably compare to Steel. Not worth it right now. So long for now, FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. November 10, 200718 yr Author Friday, November 9, 2007 Well, it's time another one of those updates that I get to every month or two. My real life is winding down and will allow me to play RS more often. I'm interested in this month's quest and that big "Great Exchange" that people think will shake up the RS economy. Not much else to report except that I have hit my half-way mark for my 20k feathers goal. So <10,000 feathers to go. W00t. But then I have to cook them all. That won't be fun. I may not get that done for awhile... Happy Scaping FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. November 14, 200718 yr Author Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 Well, the new quest came out and I've started it. Looks good so far. Here's a picture: The new poll is interesting too. I got a construction level along with 76 fishing(yay for sharks!) so that puts me at 1579 total level. I feel good about that. Later, FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician. November 28, 200718 yr Author Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Well, I guess I should update. I've now increased my total level to 182, and the only skill that is below 62 is Runecrafting. With less than 10k exp to go, I expect will not be there for long once I get to play the Tears of Guthix minigame tomorrow. The new quest was good. Killer cliffhanger though. :wall: Yeah, that's pretty much what I was doing when the quest ended... So the Not-So-Great Exchange eh? It seemed everyone was afraid it would ruin the economy, and I don't believe it really has. Some of those prices are questionable and some are definitely wrong. It's a great idea alright, but I don't think it turned out like what some of us had imagined. And Jagex failed to put a protective Bank PIN on it, but enough people have ranted and commented on that already, so I will say no more. I have an urge to spend some of that huge amount of money in my bank on Construction. It's just sitting there. And I could get a pretty sweet Construction level(not to mention a pretty sweet house) with it. Well that is it for now. Happy Scaping, FF13 -Runescape Addict --- Seven-time Writer for the Tip.It Times-"Yes I have tricks in my pocket, I have things up my sleeve. But I am the opposite of a stage magician.
