mining is when you just mine ores and bank them. powermining is when you go beserk and mine at the same place for 7 hours straight in order to gain levels. you usually drop the ores, have someone run the ores for you, or they'res an npc nearby that you sell the ores too. powermining in f2p is usualyl done with iron ores. in p2p, you go to coal trucks to go powermine coal i think... :-k

no, powermining is when you go berserk and mine at the same place until you go temporarily insane, you break your mouse, some other part of your computer breaks down, you are physically injured in some way and cannot play, you get killed/teleported by a random event, you get bored, or you reach whatever goal you set for yourself...whichever comes first

its usualy a good idea if u want to power mine to find a person to make runs for

If you are mining 3 iron rocks, and you mine the 3 without pausing in between, you will usually have enough time to drop the iron rocks before the first rock respawns again.

not to mention the fact that if you drop the ores, it tends to fill up other miners who aren't powermining so that they don't interfere with your mining

 

 

 

...though it is freakishly annoying when they fill up 27 inventory slots with ore and then decide to mine the last ore -.-
