Fast and cheap herblore?

I decided that I want to try to finish all quests and I was looking at the skills I need. The biggest problem was needing 57 herblroe and I figured out that it would cost me 14.73 mil for an initial investment and 982k lost total if I buy ranarrs for 7k per and snape grass at 500 gp per and buying vials myself at general store. Then selling prayer pots for 7k per and losing 500 gp per prayer pot. I need to know if there is any cheaper, yet still fast way of raising herblore to 57 that doesn't need me to invset almost 15 mil and lose a mil. I could probably get that by merchanting a lot buy it would take me a long time to get that much cash. So basically is there any cheaper but still fast way that maybe needs like a 2 mil investment and makes me lose only like 200k? Thanks and also I have a short term goal of 45 herblroe for legends and that will cost about 2.58 mil initial investment and I'd sell for 2.408 mil losing only 172k which i can deal with, but still, the initial cost is very expensive. Should I just do it like 100 pots at a time? Or is there a whole other potion that I can use thats cheap and fast like serum 207? Ashes are no problem to collect but tarromin would be hard to buy I think and They sell for 500-1k each, but I'd still be losing 500-1k per pot and I'd have to make almost twice as much so ranarrs would probably be cheaper. Just suggest any ways that you can think of a cheap and fast herblore way that doesn't require a huge investment.

Current plan:Get a few mil to spare and buy all herblore ingredients for rpayer pots I can and then sell. That way I won't need 14 mil initial investment all at once.

If you had decent farming I would say farm you own herbs as opposed to buying the actual herbs. Buying Seeds is alot cheaper than buying the actual herbs. I just recently boug 150 avantoe seeds, by the time Im done Ill end up with over 1200 avantoe herbs. If I would have used the same amount of money to buy the herbs I probably would have only got 500 herbs at the most just buy buying the herbs. If you can plant tarrom in seed you could easily buy Tarromin seeds for 1k each which would product 5 to 6 herbs. saving you 4k to 5k in money.

but the minimum price for tarromins is aroudn 500 gp per and thats waht I'm losing per prayer pot and its impossile to sell serum 207's plus I'll ahve to make twice as many and it will cost twice as much. And growing herbs would be a good idea but growing 4k tarromins might take a while

This isn't anything that hasn't already been mentioned, but my strategy for raising herblore is to farm my own herbs and then make them into potions.

I buy ranaar seeds at stupid low prices (advertise on RS forums) and grow my own ranaar. You can also grow limpwarts (which can be sold or used for herblore).

I collect my own snape grass : Go to a busy world (faster respawn of grass), run to the hobgoblin island, pick up grass, glory back to Draynor when you've got a full load.

I make prayer pots and sell them - Don't bother with 4 dose, it's not worth the time and effort. The whole process earns me experience in two skills while turning a profit. Can't beat that.

If this all seems like too much work, maybe just do a little of each to help offset your losses. Pick some of your snape grass and farm some of your herbs.

One last thing, and you may or may not already know this -

Looking at the tip.it guide for Fairy Tale Part II, A - Cure a Queen, I see:

Mature Greenman's Ale (+2) can help you achieve the high herblore requirement.

Only raising your herblore to 55 would cut your losses, right? :D
