Well i was just going around cleaning and wanted to delete my old printer from my computer, but when i went to My Printers i accidently deleted my current printer. Now i can't use it. I still have the rest of the software on the computer. I do not have the CD anymore is what really sucks. Is there anything i can do, do i have to buy another CD somewhere on ebay?

Ah i downloaded the drivers but what do i do with them? they just unload a few files onto my desktop called sfx, hpsfx, and a folder with more stuff that i don't know what to do with called 3500.

You could also use the wizard to add a device. To do this, open the control panel, and open the category labels "Printers and Faxes" then, on the left-hand side, press "add a printer" then follow the instructions.

the drivers didnt come with an install file or anything? Try dragging them into your hard drive, there is a folder called drivers.

right click on my computer> properties> Hardware> Device Manager.

 

 

 

Then look for the printer and right click and click properties then update driver. Then click advanced and choose the directory where you saved the files to.
