August 13, 200619 yr most of the fletching guides say you should fletch from willow bows straight to yews, missing out maples cos they are too expensive. is it worth it if i plan to cut my own logs anyway? Life is random... so am I!
August 13, 200619 yr That's always cheaper ain't it,but it will go slower. How many 'scapers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?501 to screw it in and 49 to complain how better it was before. Was signed,Kioh Twan
August 13, 200619 yr Due to the faster rate at which you can cut willows, it is much faster to train fletching with willows. Don't even bother with maples. 136 Combat, 2290+ Skill Total
August 13, 200619 yr People: you are forgetting something. Managing your own kingdom will get you mass maples and nests! You can use these maple logs for firemaking which is more common since most people have 70 fletching who get mass logs from the island. But if you aren't lvl 70, you can use these maples for fletching aswell. Although this isn't very common, it is practical, but most people use willows, as you can buy these for 35-40 ea .. 27k and get you all the way to lvl 70 fletching without stringing.
