I've been trying to train by using "curse" with qk bodys 1k waters and an earth staff.

 

I tried training on the demon locked up in the wizards' tower but I could only cast it once.

 

Can someone explain to me how I can make it "fail" so I can use it again? thanks.

Don't wear robes, or anything that gives you a magic bonus, except maybe a staff.

To fail all the time in curse you need to wear stuff with LOW mage bonus. I suggest you wear the highest armor you can, depending on your defence level and the highest level leather vambraces you can. Don't bother wearing an amulet because it'd just increase the chance of you hitting. :wall:

The armor level doesn't matter.

 

Full bronze works as well as full rune.

 

 

 

What the OP needs to do is to get his Magic attack stat to -65 or worse.

 

That can be done with a full helm, plate armor, legs, and kite shield of any metal.

 

If you want to use a Water or Earth staff to save on runes then you need

 

to add green dragonhide vambraces as well.

 

 

 

Look at the magic attack stats for this:

If you add up the magic attack stats you get: -6-30-21-8 = -65

 

If you include the Water (or Earth) staff and the green dragonhide vambraces then you get: -65+10-10 = -65

 

 

 

Do not wear a magic amulet when casting.

 

Remember, the idea is to fail when casting the Curse spell.

 

That way, you can re-use the same monster but get the full 29 mage exp each time.
