The power cord is kinda loose in the hole, as in it comes out easily and turn around in t easily. I have tried many different power outlets, checked the connection throughout the cord. The comp is either not picky it up, or it is not making the connection. Help Please. Tips wanted. Possible temp fixes? 51% Battery remaining as i push the submit button. Coputer is Dead. psudomorph
My first thought would be to test it out with another power cord. Look for a friend with the same model laptop as you and see if the AC adapter puts out the same power (For example, my adapter reads "output: 19.5V 3.4a"). Find an adapter where the "v" and "a" numbers match up with the ones on yours. If a different AC adapter works, then it means yours has gone bad and should be replaced. That's the only idea I have for now. If you dont take steps to ensure that you're protected, you void all right to complain when stuff goes wrong.Join the petition for a new bank page layout! weezcake
As psudomorph said, try another AC adapter. If it does not work, check your warranty. If it's still under warranty, call Dell Customer Support and they'll replace it for free. Not sure how much it'll cost if it's not under warranty though. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. Suox
The power connections inside the plug or the termanator are loose or broken. The best thing you can do is to get a new one. :wall: 99 Woodcutting goal: Complete! :D
