Hey, what does the attack stat mean anyway?

Featured Replies

So strength is what determines your max hit, defence is how well you resist damage, and hit points are how much damage you can take, but what is attack? Does it make a difference on how often you get a non-zero hit on your opponent? :-k

attsck lets u hit high more often, like if ur max is 20, ud hit 15-20 alot more often the higher ur att is

Hey thanks!!

So when you are training combat, is it usually best to keep attack and strength 1 apart? cause I thought it is best to get strength a bit higher than the others.

people have always tried different things and it really depends on what you like best.

atk determines how often you will hit

str determiones how high you hit when you atk

def determines how often you get hit

a lot of people train str really high so they can hit high and then use an accurate weapon like a longsword or a scimitar or dagger (mainly p2p)

some will train atk more and use weapons like a battleaxe, less accurate but more str. so balanced out.

its really your own personal preference. i personally use a scimitar or longsword and keep them the same. this way i hit often and i hit moderately high. which for me is better. id rather hit a lot of smaller hits that a few big ones.
