Do quest!!! Mine essence and charge it to mind, air, and other type of runes.. then use it to mage guard or other monster. That help me when I was a low mage....

Use curse, wear full rune and do curses to someone and it always fails but you get the same xp -,-

If your p2p you could just mine a ton of pure ess then sell for 90-100e. Then use that money to buy either runes for a strike/bolt spell or a curse spell. You could also just get up to 45, then just do fast free laws and buy an air staff, then just do cammy telly.
