Mining question..

Okay, I've started mining a few days ago and thought rune pickaxes were suppose to mine iron ores in 1 hit, but I've been mining them for more like 1 - 8 hits per iron ore. Is this supposed to happen? A lot of people say it's because of my mining lvl, if this is the case, is there a certain lvl you have to reach so that you ALWAYS mine Iron ores in 1 hit?

Well mining ores depend on 3 things.

 

1. The ore

 

2. The pick

 

3. The level.

 

 

 

So if you have a mining level of 41 and are using a rune pick, it may take a few hits to mine iron.

 

 

 

If you're using a rune axe, and are mining level of 60, then it's likely it will do it in one hit. But sometimes it does take more.

 

 

 

If you just keep on mining and get your levels up, it improves everytime.

mine is 66 and everyso often it still takes a few good whcaks to crack an iron ore , even with a rune pic

even at 91 mining AT TIMES it isnt 1 hit, but around 60ish it is ALMOST ALWAYS 1 hit

weird.. im only abt 7x mining and its usually 1 hit for me.. sometimes it may take 2 hits, but i always assumed it to just be lag.

You can get iron in one hit at either lvl 50 or 55 (I forget which #-o )

 

 

 

Afterwards, it's pretty much the same rate for getting the ores. You always have to swing multiple times if you get a gem, though in some cases (and by some cases I mean one in several thousand rocks), an iron rock takes multiple swings to get the ore.

I am lvl 63 mining and the only time I ever dont one hit iron is when I get a gem since lvl 60
