August 29, 200619 yr Would I be correct in assuming that this armor set is the best melee armor possible for f2p? Head: Rune Full Helm* Chest: Rune Platebody* Legs: Rune Platelegs* Shield: Rune Kiteshield* Neck: Amulet of Power** Gloves: Green D'hide Vambraces*** Boots: Fancy/Fighting Boots Cape: Any (although I think yellow looks good with Rune Armor) Arrows: Any**** Ring: Any**** *Or any trimmed armor, because they have the same stats, right? **I think this gives a better bonus than Strength Ammy ***Do these help melee stats at all? I'm training ranged anyway so I'll have the option. ****These give no stat bonuses anyway. My Runescape username is Nintend Fan.^Happened right after I killed a guy in the wil
August 29, 200619 yr yes, that's the best possible armor set in f2p. for training though, i'd recommend you use: rune large helmet rune chainmail dragon vambraces dragon chaps cape power ammulet. that will be better in ranging than the full rune will. of course if you're going to be hiding behind something, use dragonhide body with a coif.
August 29, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the tip. I don't train melee and ranged at the same time, but I'll keep that in mind. And I did forget to add in the cape. (And arrows and ring, but they don't give bonuses) My Runescape username is Nintend Fan.^Happened right after I killed a guy in the wil
August 29, 200619 yr Yes. that is the best melee armor possible on F2P. For non-safespot range training (although I feel this is an unnecessary and unacceptable way of training), I'd use Full Green D'Hide (instead of Rune Chain) with Rune Full Helm. I am back.
August 29, 200619 yr i wouldnt bother with brining the arrows unless you plan on ranging and the ring will just add weight so you should never have any reason to bring it as rings are pretty much of no use to f2ps [omg] who cares if its nerfed or fixed.... you people will argue over the color of a green apple if it was a topic on this fourm god.

I don't know. Anyway, if you're f2p, bringing a ring is absolutely pointless. Cool.
