Well anything you see in banks, like "Selling yews 200 each" Jump to that, then sell on another world for like 250 each. Or Another way is mining say....iron. Sell it 100 each and buy back as much as u can for 50-80 each, etc...

my advice for you is to not start merchanting is unpredictable you will never know when the prices will drop. and as for merching ores and logs i wouldnt because of the major macro problem in f2p the prices are unstable

I agree with what was said above about merchanting ores and logs being unstable but if you must, here's my advice.

 

 

 

Try merchanting iron. It may not make as much money as coal and may not be as common as coal but it is much more stable in price (about 100 each at the moment I think) and you can buy a lot more or it with the same amount of money (remember that merchants do well with large amounts of items bought in bulk). As always remember the cardinal rule; buy low sell high. Don't get greedy. A profit of 5% is respectable and 10% is excellent.
