Was just wondering. I've checked Construction FAQ it gave a confusing anwser. I've searched nothing. So if someone could tell me before I start planning soon to be perfect house. ^^

you can technically not build a 3 story house, however you can have a basement and a first floor giving you 3 floors if that solves ur question

I felt the same, it's different in america they call the ground floor the 1st floor. Basement, ground floor, 1st floor. 3 floors.

remember when planning your house, that if you want to get a dungeon etc when you get to a high level, you are not going to have space for lots of rooms/gardens. In my house i got rid of my garden (put a formal in its place), asnd am going to scrap my parlour to give me another dungeon room.

 

 

 

also remember that some rooms can only have one type of orientation, e.g. the workshop can't have its doors at right angles to each other - they are always opposite

cant you just make the house wider?

You can do this. Dungeon, ground floor, and upstairs. Thats 3 stories.

 

 

 

You cannot have Ground floor, upstairs, and a 3rd floor on top of that.
