Ive been looking thru the forums and I have seen 2 main answers. They are .... use iron throwing knifes and yes I am p2p, or use iron arrows with a bow which is more productive(raises levels fastest) and which costs less money.

Personally, I used Bow + Bronze arrows ftw. Never used Knives not a fan of them. And I'm currently 73 ranged so it works. And Iron Knives are 40gp each (Last time I checked) and Bronze arrows are 20gp (Last time I checked)

Iron knives at moss giants north west of ardy ftw! easily best place, 4 spawns and 4 spots to hide :D

well, there is no one best way to train range.

 

 

 

It depends on alot of things, like how patient you are, how laggy you're computer is, etc.

 

 

 

From 50-70 range i training mostly at fire giants and king lathas training camp with iron arrows. I made them myself, so I didn't consider cost.

 

 

 

Fire giants are usually pretty busy, with at least 3 people there. If you're level 60 or below (ranged), I suggest going to the ogres. They are never full, so you will always be able to train, and they drop tons of seeds. From like 67-70 range I got at least 10 ranaar seeds from them \

Ok well my computer hardly ever lags, and im kinda patient but if im not leveling quickly. I dont wanna be leveling every 2mins (tho that would be nice) i would enjoy being able to raise lvls quickly but ill have all of labor day to do that. So whats the best option.

No matter what you'll get 2 different opinions:

I would suggest you get 500 knives and 500 arrows of the same type and try it out yourself.

 

Otherwise this arguement will go on forever.

 

 

 

For me I use both:

 

I power train with bronze arrows( not picking the up) at Zoo and Ogre cage.

 

I use iron knives otherwise. I like knives cause I can use my Zammy prayer book for and extra +8 bonus

1-55 ::: Iron Knives ::: Rock Crabs ::: Good XP, barely hit you.

 

55-65 ::: Iron Arrows ::: Fire Giants ::: Good drops, nice safespots

 

65-70 ::: Iron Arrows ::: Hellhounds ::: Level 3 Clues, good safespots

 

70+ ::: Crystal Bow ::: Blue Dragons ::: Profit from hides/bones, Level 3 Clues

ok im gunna go with singularo, about how many knives should i have if i pick em up?

Get around 10k iron knives it will cost u around 400 - 450k mark from most people or you could make them or buy them from me cos i happen to have 10k lyin around :D

Yeah, probably about 9-12k, depending upon if you lose knives to theives.
