kinda like a player owned stall but more ideal.

 

The Idea:

 

the basic idea is that there will be 3 stones 1 in adougne, 1 invarrock and 1 in falador. These stones have these options...Buy,market and search.

 

 

 

The Options:

 

 

 

Search

 

basicly when you search the stone a menu will open. It will be a long list of items that other people have sold that you can buy and it will also have a search option for the item you want.

 

 

 

Market

 

the next option is where you can set up your item to the market list and other people can buy it you can set this item as bid (so people can bid for it) or buy it for a certain price. you can choose the bid price (if bidding is on for that item and you can choose to bid how much) and the buy price. and you can set when to stop the bidding time.

 

 

 

Buy

 

you can choose eather bid for a item or to just buy it.

 

when you buy a item it will go to your inventory.

 

 

 

other info

 

when the bid time is over and nobody bidded for your item it will go to your bank and you will get a message saying so. or if someone did bid for the item it will go to there bank and they will get a message.

 

 

 

the item will be listed forever until the bid time is over or if someone buys it or if you take it off.

 

 

 

it will also ask you for your pin number if you have one when selling or buying a item.

 

 

 

all items in the list will only be from people in that world. people can only 1 item listed at a time. if you switch worlds your item will be switched to that world item list.

 

 

 

also to keep flood control lower you need to buy a marketing license which will cost 10k or something.

 

 

 

you can also sell noted items in the market.

 

 

 

the markets will of course be for free members also

 

Problems that could happen

 

 

 

-1 problem is that the list could be extremely big and be resizing and cause lag while in it in w2 or something.

well i got the idea because i was like "well we cant have 100's of stalls in varrock or whatever can we? ya kinda like a expansion to the market but YOU set the prices.

well if you read on in that forum you'll see the idea of portals and land space intstead of having 100's of stalls on top of each other

well i guess they could do it like poh's..

well if u had a suggestion its not that hard to just reply under the player owned stalls post

^ the problem with that is you have to be inside to sell your items my idea is you can sell it while doing whatever

hmmm I have no idea if this is already in the game or not, or if someone's already suggested.

 

 

 

but why not make a market day, once a week like a real market. players come from all over the game and silly there stuff like they would in reality on a market day.

 

 

 

Yet have a set number of stalls?

 

 

 

I know sometimes people won't get a stall and such, but it'd be kinda fun and you can still trade even if you don't have one.

THis idea might lead to a various of bugs in the game, such as players not getting an item they purchased etc. :shock:

but then if it what done like trading, but shop style, then it's not like they can be scammed. as long as they pay attention like they would in a normal trade.

there's something called the forums. It is almost the exact thing that your talking about except its not as official. I don't see how they could do this, since they'd have so much people in one area and such...Forums r fine.
