I helped him a tiny bit with the coloring of the bg but thats it (told him to press CTRL + U and some other settings) he basically did the rest

Not bad at all for a first... i'll be keeping an eye on your next stuff.

 

 

 

Only real tip I can give you is just keep practicing. At this point it's kind of useless to throw a ton of info at you as you'd have no idea what to make of it.

 

 

 

However, I find it too blury for my tastes, try Copy Merged > Pasting all of the layers into a new layer and sharpen it up :D

Lol you just even confused me Nad, do this, Create New Layer > Go to Image > Apply Image > Filters > Sharpen > Click Sharpen

Pfft whatever... I always just Select all > Copy Merged > Paste (into a new layer) > Filters > Sharpen > Sharpen.

 

 

 

I just forgot where exactly sharpen is... :-k
