If you're using PS, save it as a .jpg and just select the quality of it. Lower quality= lower size

Not bad for a first go, but it can be better. Just keep using PS and you'll get better.

You'll definately want to add some effects to it, wether it's adding a stroke around it, or glow. You just want to get it to stand out, I barely noticed it the first time I looked.

When you download the fonts, it comes in a zip. Unzip it to your fonts folder, it should work.
