Firstly, can anyone tell me where the lair is located with as much detail as possible. Also I now have ring of charos, but dont know what it does?. I understand I can train in lair without needing food (am level 69), on level 25 experimentals, so any help or advice (stuff I need to take or wear etc) appreciated. thanks :)

It's located just east of Frenkestrain's castle, and west of the farming patch. It's a tomb that you'll need to push, the most eastern one.

If you did creature of fenkenstrain quest, you should know where the lair is, it's the same gravestone as in the quest :wink:

 

 

 

With the ring of charos you can enter the werewolf agility course and some other stuff, and if you do garden of tranquility, you'll get it (u)'ified and it gives you some benefits when worn... Not sure, havent done the quest

Oh and for the outfit, take the best armour you have so you won't need too much food and make bank trips.

 

Ring of Charos isn't required to get in the dungeon.

 

When the Ring is activated (a), btw it was unlocked (u) before, you can charm the 'weaker minds'. You can get free travel (boat, cart), choose the colour of a kitten from gertrude before you buy, you can change your fremennik name, and lots of stuff can't remember right now.
