What are your skills? Would you be range/meleeing/maging it? How much money do you have now that you are willing to spend to make the money?

Well our skills are pretty similar. I killed a lot of blue drags with 70 range. You should try to sell those iron knives and get steel arrows, you will kill them easier and probably faster. If you already have the iron knives, sell for 40gp ea and then buy steel arrows for 40gp ea or less. You should to pretty well.

Well with skills pretty similar to yours, I went through a lot of food on blue dragons. Also, at green dragons, it is pretty risky since you can be killed and lose all the hides/bones you get.

Really, it is up to you, you would be able to do them both pretty easily. I've noticed that with iron arrows on blue dragons I did really well on blue dragons and since the arrows don't break very often I rarely had to buy new arrows. And at green dragons, I didn't get much food but it also is risky being in the wildy.

Since you have 70 ranged, I'd recommend using crystal bow at the ogre enclave. There are a few blues down there and the crystal bow works wonders against them. I never found iron knives to be very effective against blues, but then again, I haven't used iron knives since 68 ranged.

My preferred method was picking off the blue dragons at the Ogre Enclave ... lots of nice safe spots there and it's rarely busy, with the banks at CW or Yanille at a nice distance. As to what weapon to use it really depends on your personal preferences.

I have used iron knives all the time, because they are easy and fast to make ... I never buy anything I can make myself and I absolutely hate to gather feathers. Knives will hit lower numbers, but they are faster than a bow. You can also wear the anti-dragon shield when using knives, which was a life saver for me a few times when I lagged or even worse got booted to the desktop while running to get in position. No fun getting broiled by dragon fire when there is nothing you can do about it. Just take a few of each, and test what you like best.

The crystal bow does give you nice hits, however, if your goal is making money, the cost of recharging it takes a hefty bite out of your profit.

As far as food is concerned, I take just one swordfish as a safety measure, which I eat at the end to have more space --- need to get rid of 1,800 of them to get more bank space

I will get that little Phoenix chick!!!!!

once you get the hang of things, green dragon is significantly more profitable than blue dragon. Simply because you can kill 2-3 more for each blue dragon you kill.

A good guide for green dragon killing is :
