d3vilbro
Just wondering what I should train on for 40-75 Range on my 1 Def Pure in F2P. Also how many arrows would I use as an estimate if I: 1. Power Ranged 2. Picked up Oh and just an FYI, I really dislike training at the following areas: Hill Giants Fortress Guards Varrock Guards Thanks I_Xpk3r_I: Future Mayhem Maker
Goobore
Just wondering what I should train on for 40-75 Range on my 1 Def Pure in F2P. Picked up Bronze: Power=71000, Pickup=17800 Iron: Power=70400, Pickup=17600 Oh and just an FYI, I really dislike training at the following areas: Hill Giants Fortress Guards Varrock Guards Thanks Well, almost any monster that has a fence, table, etc between you and it will work. You could try monks, jail guards, Al Kharid palace guards, wizards, barbarians, pirates, goblins, etc. For the monks you can shoot from behind the backyard fence (they will also heal you for free) For the jail guards, shoot from behind the fence. For the Palace guards, shoot from behind the low wall. For the wizards, wear your best range gear for the magic defense. For the barbarians, shoot from outside the fence gates. For the pirates, shoot from outside their wander range. For the goblins, shoot from behind fences. You could even try the white knights in their screen torture room. They have high defense but they won't normally attack you. So it makes fighting them easy if you shoot through the screens. Hope this helps
D. V. Devnull
I'm thinking you should use the stronghold. Plenty of low-level monsters to kill, plenty of arrows to gain, and plenty of safe-spots to use. :) and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
aoe325
theres a room between the entrance of edgeville dungeon and hill giant shack where there are many skeletons (20-22-25 i think) and some rocks where u can easily hide and range alot of skeletons at same time/in a row whithout moving (not the mine, the room whith gate to wildy) There are also 2 bronze arrow respawn Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07. runevirage
Generally the lesser demons on crandor are the best for f2p, fast and easy xp, good drops, and very practical for picking up arrows (instead of walking a great distance, walking back and then reposition yourself, all you have to do is walk like 1 square to pick up the drop). If it gets too lonely there you can also try moss giants in varrock sewers or crandor isle. Arrows hm well the a general rule of thumb is, you should be able to pick up half the amount of arrows you spent, so for example if you shot 1000 arrows, continously picking up will yield 500 of those 1000 arrows that you shot, so potentially with only 1000 arrows alone: 1000 + 500 + 250 + 125 etc. should yield about 2000 shots for your 1000 arrows. So basically by picking up and continuously reusing you can use twice as many arrows as are in your inventory. I wouldn't recommend just picking single arrows unless they're addy/mith. As for the number of arrows I agree with goobore, around 70,000 bronze probably without picking up, 35000 with. If you want faster xp obviously mith and addy are the way to go (and if you have any of those available you should probably use the first so that you're damage will stay even), but if money's an issue try just buying iron and steel from the shops - I don't like bronze so much simply because it's soooo weak.
