Just wondering, how much coal can the Blast Furnace hold?

 

 

 

To elaborate, the ingame screen showing where you can take out your bars also now shows the amount of coal in the machine. What is the highest amount of coal you can have in?

 

 

 

BTW, i had about 16 coal before doing the furnace recently, so i just bought some iron ores and put them into 'bertha', still did smelt.

 

So I would think its possible to load heaps of coal in and just bring ores of your choice without having to keep doing it.

 

 

 

The furnace's bar dispenser can hold 28 bars of each type(validate this for me if you want to), so 28 * 4(half the amount of coal if smelting rune) should sensibly be the maximum amount of coal being able to be held(112 coal ore altogether).

The furnace will accept up to 224 coal (enough to accompany two packloads of rune ore) from you. It will accept up to 28 (one packload) of each other type of ore.
