In detail: go to Entrana with no armour or weaps (but for preference a tele out). Go down the ladder, kill zombies to get the axe. Go to the tree & cut as many branches as you like - if you get several you won't need to do it again for a long time. Tele out then cut your new staves. You wont have to fight the Spirit againg though. Remember to bring teles to get out. And fill your invenotry with branches as they are very handy (especially with Fairy Rings).
