Fail_o_holic
Okay, so here's the story. I like defence. When I play sports, I play defence. When I look at equipment, I prefer a rune kite over an obby shield any day due to it's better defence. I wear barrows armour to fight chickens. When I'm in a generous mood I give low levels armour when they ask for weapons. I am a defence man and I want skills to match. So, my current plan is to, after I've had my fill of barrows, train defence like a crazy loon using slayer assignments. I will use my black mask to compensate for the lack of offense, although I could supplement it with potions as well. Any suggestions, or is it a pretty sound plan? No idea will be overlooked. And I'm not going near pc. After reading all the rants I don't want to have my training ruined by the lower levels, and I'd rather not be associated at all with the higher ones. - Pfft, my goals are FAR too "fluid" (ie. I have ADD) to be recorded in my sig.
deadmeet1234
sounds pretty good to me but....i woudl really recommend getting a rune defender, even though it has only +20ish defense stats, the +20 attack and +5 str bonuses i think make a huge difference

Doomster
If those are the right stats (77 attack, 75 strength, 78 defence) then you don't have the same problems as a defence pure. The impact of accurate / aggressive / defensive selection on your combat effectiveness is likely to be minimal.

I plan to try to max out defence before getting 76 strength. The rune defender sounds good actually. I'll try for that after I've got a couple more mil from barrows. - Pfft, my goals are FAR too "fluid" (ie. I have ADD) to be recorded in my sig.
